Artist Kavi Kumar Azad, best known for his work in famous Tv show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’, passed away today after suffering from a massive cardiac arrest (heart attack). He take his last breath at Wockhardt Hospital Mumbai.
Ravi kumar Azad plays the role of Dr Hansraj Haathi in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. According to News18, Azad, reportedly unwell for the last few days, was admitted to Wokhardt Hospital. He reportedly slipped into a coma at night on Sunday.
After hearing about this sad news, the whole crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was entirely stunned and have rushed to the hospital .
Talking about the past, Kavi Kumar Azad originally hailed from Bihar state and moved onto Mumbai to try his luck in acting in the bollywood film industry. He get chance in few films. After appearing in some films like Mela and Fun2shh, he struck gold after bagging the role of Dr Hathi in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Creator of the show Asit Kumarr Modi stated, “Kavi Kumar Azad was a stunning performing artist and an extremely constructive individual. He really cherished the show and dependably desired the shoot regardless of whether he was not feeling admirably. He called today morning that he isn’t well and won’t have the capacity to seek the shoot. What’s more, later we got the news that he passed away. We are very numb to state anything.”
“We are very sad to inform the loss of our senior actor Kavi Kumar Azad. He was playing the character of Dr Hathi in Taarak Mehta… We lost him to a massive cardiac arrest today morning,” says show creator Modi to IANS.
“He was an amazing actor and a very positive person. He truly loved the show and always came for the shoot even if he was not feeling well. He called today morning saying that he is not well and will not be able to come for shoot. And later we got the news that he passed away. We are all too numb to say anything,” added Modi.
Performing artist Samay Shah, who plays Gogi in the show, portrayed Kavi kumar -his onscreen father as a “sweet and kind” individual.
“He generally inspired me to do har work. He additionally has an eating joint called Kusum Rolls. He used to request that I get him Jain nourishment and I used to instruct him to incorporate Jain sustenance in Kusum Rolls’ menu,” Samay told to IANS.
“His demise news came as a stun to every one of us. It happened all of a sudden. He used to feel unwell on the set some of the time. He used to be down with fever or have shortcoming. In any case, he never let the show’s shooting get affected. He used to shoot his part first,” he included.
