Anne Heche is an American actress who entered the world of entertainment with her appearance in the ‘Another World’ soap opera. Before he died of AIDS, she had accused her father of sexual abuse. Her relationship with her mother and the only surviving sister became alienated as her father was defended. She appeared in various TV shows and movies, including “Fatal Desire,” “The Brave,” “Wild Side,” ‘Walking and Talking’ and “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” During her career her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres was widely controversial. She married Coley Laffoon later, but she was later divorced. Then she dated and had another son with James Tupper. She published a book called ‘Call Me Crazy: A Memoire,’ which tells her stormy life, including her father who is abusive and her lesbian relationship. After her break-up with DeGeneres for which she had to be medically treated, she experienced emotional and psychological problems.

Anne Heche was born to Donald and Nancy Heche on 25 May 1969 in Aurora, Ohio, USA. She was one of five youngest siblings. Her dad was the director of the Baptist chorus and did strange jobs but did not make enough money to support the family. She’s a decent mixed European.

They moved around and even lived for a while in an Amish community. The family settled in Ocean City, New Jersey at the age of 12 and started working in a dining room to increase family income. Her father was sexually deviant and sexually abused when she died of AIDS when she was 13 years old.

Three months after her father’s death, after which her family moved to Chicago to join the Francis W. Parker School, his elder brother was killed in a car crash. She was noticed by an agent during a school game and was offered an audition by the agent.

Her mother didn’t want her to join the entertainment industry, but decided to leave her home and follow her dream of becoming a New York City actress. Her mother remarried and moved away from her life in 2008. She started her career with a role in the soap opera ‘Another World,’ where she received the ‘Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series’ Daytime Emmy Award in 1991. In 1992 she made her feature movie debut the following year with her role as Mary Jane in Disney’s ‘The Adventures of Huck Finn’ in the Hallmark Hall of Fame TV film ‘O Pioneers.’

In the film ‘If These Walls Could Talk’ she played her first major role as a college student, with Cher and Demi Moore. Her work in ‘Walking and Talking’ received positive feedback and the movie was listed by ‘Entertainment Weekly’ among the top 50 cultural films of all time. During this period she established a short non-camera relation with her co-star, Steve Martin from ‘A Simple Twist of Fate.’

In the political satire ‘Wag the Dog’ and disaster movie ‘Vulcano’ she performed counterstars such as Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman and Tommy Lee Jones. Despite her supportive role in these films, critics felt that she could do much more.

In the romantic adventure movie ‘Six Days, Seven Nights’ she appeared in her first lead role opposite Harrison Ford in 1998. The film received mixed reviews that were influenced by its simultaneously public same sex relationship with Ellen DeGeneres.

She appeared in several TV series and TV films before making her Broadway debut in the 2002 winning play “Proof” at the Pulitzer Prize, for which she received positive reviews. Her performance in the 2004 film ‘Gracie’s Choice’ was awarded the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Primetime Emmy Award and she won a Tony Award in a ‘Best Actress in a Play’ show in Broadway, ‘Twentieth Century.’

In 2006, she started her own series entitled ‘Men in Trees’ which had to be closed due to a 2008 writers strike. She continued to appear in TV horrors and sex comedies such as ‘Suffering Men’s Charity’ and ‘Spread.’

Her latest projects include films such as ‘My Friend Dahmer’ and ‘Armed Response,’ as well as the TV War Series ‘The Brave’ (2017-2018). She also lent her voice for the 9: The Last Resort video game and directed some TV serials.

She hosted a weekly radio show called ‘Love and Hache’ with Jason Ellis on SiriusXM, and appeared on the TV show ‘Everwood’ as a regular guest.
