Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Motley Crue?

When it comes to 1980s hair metal, Mötley Crüe was a force to be reckoned with in terms of notoriety and commercial success. Heavy metal and pop songs melded with heavy metal theatrics helped the band rise to the top of the charts frequently in the 1980s, with albums like Theatre of Pain and Dr. Feelgood drawing sold-out venues across the world in 1985 and 1989, respectively.

It was only in the early 1990s that the band dissolved due to a series of lineup changes, legal issues, and other difficulties. Reuniting with the original line-up in the early 2000s catapulted them back to prominence as a popular band from their pop-metal era. After releasing their eighth studio album, Saints of Los Angeles (in 2008), in 2009, the band toured relentlessly, and their infamous early years were documented in the full-length movie The Dirt (released in 2019).

Mötley Crüe was the brainchild of bassist Nikki Sixx (born Frank Ferrara), singer/guitarist Greg Leon, and drummer Tommy Lee, and was formed in January 1981. (born Thomas Lee Bass). For the past two years, Leon had served as Randy Rhoads’ replacement in Quiet Riot. However, he clashed with Sixx, culminating in his resignation from the band a few months later.

Bob “Mick Mars” Deal, a local guitarist, stepped in and took the stage name “Mottley Krue” with him. Rock Candy vocalist Vincent Neil Wharton was sought after when the trio changed the moniker and added a pair of umlauts (supposedly in reference to German beer).

It wasn’t until Rock Candy’s other members stated that they were re-forming into a new wave band, that Neil agreed to join. Now that Neil was a member of the band, Mötley Crüe became a cult favorite on the Los Angeles music scene, infamous for theatrics like setting Sixx’s pants on fire in the middle of the song.

Allan Coffman, the band’s manager, funded the recording of a debut album. Other Records, an indie label founded by Coffman and the band, issued Too Fast for Love in November 1981, which sold a stunning 20,000 copies.

For the Canadian trip, the band made news by wearing spike-laden stage costumes onto the plane, smuggling pornographic material through airport security, and receiving death threats from enraged fans. When Mötley Crüe’s sensationalist appeal was exposed, it helped to generate the kind of shock publicity the band needed.

When Elektra Records saw how popular Mötley Crüe was at local venues, they decided to sign them and release a new version of Too Fast for Love before the band’s new album was released. Elektra also published their second album, Shout at the Devil, in 1983 following their return to California.

As a result of the MTV video for “Looks That Kill,” Mötley Crüe’s popularity on the club circuit was unknown to the general public, the song went platinum. A million more copies of Shout at the Devil were sold in the United States in 1984, but the celebration was called to a halt by the death of Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley, a member of Hanoi Rocks. Neil was found guilty of vehicular manslaughter and DUI, while the other victims were left with fractured bones and brain damage.

In 1986, he was sentenced to 15 days in prison, as well as community work and a substantial cash settlement. Theatre of Pain had already been on the charts for a long time, consolidating the band’s mainstream popularity and providing Mötley Crüe’s first Top 40 success, “Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room,” by the time Neil was convicted. The band was able to continue their hedonistic reign after Neil spent only a little time in prison.

Mötley Crüe’s success grew during the 1980s under the management of Doug Thaler and Doc McGhee, the latter of whom also handled Bon Jovi. Home Sweet Home” from Theatre of Pain was the subject of another hit music video, while a 44-minute home videotape entitled Uncensored was released in 1986 to multi-platinum sales.

By then, Lee had tied the knot with Hollywood actress Heather Locklear, and Girls, Girls, Girls had returned to the recording studio to finish their fourth album. It debuted at number two on the Billboard album chart in 1987, with the raucous title track being the band’s second Top 40 smash.

When Sixx had a near-fatal drug overdose, he was forced to cancel the band’s European tour. On the way to the hospital, he was declared legally dead, but he was resurrected by two adrenaline injections to the heart. When Sixx returned home, he re-emerged as a force to be reckoned with. While Mötley Crüe remained out of the public eye while the band members cleaned up their act, the counselor’s Thaler and McGhee were shocked.

With the release of Dr. Feelgood, Mötley Crüe’s first album to reach the top of the Billboard charts, they made a clean and sober comeback in 1989. The title tune became the band’s first Top Ten smash. It was in 1991 that a revised version of “Home Sweet Home” became the band’s final Top 40 success, propelling Decade of Decadence to multi-platinum status.
