Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Brooklyn Nets?

The Brooklyn Nets are a National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise based in Brooklyn, New York. They compete in the Eastern Conference (NBA). The Nets won two championships as a member of the American Basketball Association (ABA) (1974, 1976).

The New Jersey Americans were the team’s inaugural name when it was created in 1967. Nets became New York Nets after they moved their home games to Long Island in 1968–69, leading to the name change. Nets never finished better than third in their first six seasons despite reaching the ABA finals in 1971–72.

The team acquired superstar player Julius Erving in a trade-in 1973, and in his first season in New York, Erving helped the team improve its record by 25 wins compared to the year before. Thereafter, Erving led the Nets to their second ABA title in five years, in 1975–76. Because of the ABA-NBA merger in 1976, the Nets had to raise $8 million to become a member of a more established league.

Upon entering the NBA in 1970 with only one viable asset in Julius Erving, the team rapidly saw its fortunes decline. They went on to have five straight losing seasons before making the playoffs in 1979 with a 37–45 record.

In 1977, the team relocated back to Garden State. They moved into their Meadowlands stadium, hired Larry Brown as head coach (he lasted two seasons), and brought in Buck Williams as their power forward. Williams was voted Rookie of the Year and led the Nets to their first NBA championship in the 1981–82 season as a tough rebounding machine. Despite making the playoffs in each of the following four seasons, only once did the Nets win a playoff series, in 1984, when they beat the reigning NBA champion Philadelphia 76ers in the first round.

With Kenny Anderson, Drain Petrovi, and Derrick Coleman, the Nets returned to the playoffs after a five-year absence in 1991–92, thanks to a promising young team. Due to Petrovi’s tragic death and a series of misbehaviors and inconsistencies by Anderson, Coleman, and others, this Nets team was almost completely replaced by the end of the 1995–96 season, after losing three first-round playoff games in the early 1990s.

New Jersey finished second to last in their division for the rest of the decade and started the new millennium with a losing record. The Nets acquired point guard Jason Kidd in a trade-in in 2001, and in his first season in New Jersey, he guided the team to a 26-win improvement over its 2000–01 record.

In both 2001–02 and 2002–03, the Nets won the Eastern Conference and advanced to the NBA Finals thanks to the play of forwards Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson, but they lost both times. The Nets made the playoffs for the next four seasons, but their quality of play dropped rapidly after that, and their 12–70 record in 2009–10 was the lowest in the team’s history, as they missed the postseason each of those seasons.

A group of investors that included Mikhail Prokhorov and Jay-Z purchased the team in 2012 and transferred it to Brooklyn in order to take advantage of New York’s larger media market and cultural cachet. The resurrected Brooklyn Nets finished the regular season with a 49-33 record, although they were eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

It wasn’t until the next off-season that the Nets made a big splash by acquiring All-Star veterans Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce and appointing recently-retired Kidd as head coach that they began to live up to their high expectations. But on February 23, 2014, the team signed free agent Jason Collins, who became the first out gay athlete to participate in any of the four major North American team sports when he appeared in Brooklyn’s game.

Collins was a key member of a resurgent Brooklyn Nets team that concluded the regular season with a postseason spot, finishing among the league’s best. Depleted Nets became one of the weakest NBA teams when Pierce and Garnett left in 2014 and 2015, respectively, forcing Kidd into an unusual coach trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Many NBA pundits dubbed the 2013 Garnett and Pierce trade “the worst ever,” yet the Nets still managed to put together a competitive young team that unexpectedly returned to the playoffs in 2018–19 despite trading away many of their first-round draughts picks from the decade of 2010. (a first-round loss).
