Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Houston Rockets?

An American professional basketball club from Houston, the Houston Rockets. The Houston Rockets have won two NBA championships (1994 and 1995) and four Western Conference championships (1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994).

The San Diego Rockets were created in 1967 and relocated to Houston in 1971 after a four-year run of losses. Elvin Hayes and Calvin Murphy, both of whom would go on to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, led the early Rockets teams, as well as Rudy Tomjanovich, who would go on to coach the team for 12 seasons. Two games into the 1976–77 season, the Rockets acquired star center Moses Malone in a deal that resulted in Houston’s first-ever winning season and a trip to the conference finals.

In the 1980–81 NBA season, the Houston Rockets achieved this feat by winning three straight playoff series following a disappointing regular-season record of 40 wins and 42 defeats. They then advanced to the NBA finals, where they lost to the Boston Celtics. In 1982, Malone left the team, and the Rockets were relegated to the bottom of the NBA standings.

Once Hakeem Olajuwon was drafted in 1984 by the Houston Rockets, he swiftly established himself as the franchise’s face. During the 1986 NBA finals, Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson (both over 7 feet [2.13 meters] tall) led the Rockets to another finals trip, but they were beaten by the Celtics once more. They qualified for postseason play every year through 1985 but never advanced beyond the second round of playoffs in that decade.

Midway through the 1991–92 season, Tomjanovich became the team’s new head coach, ushering in the most successful era in franchise history. Olajuwon inspired Houston to back-to-back NBA championships in the 1993–94 and 1994–95 seasons, with crucial help from Sam Cassell, Robert Horry, and Clyde Drexler (for the 1994–95 season) (yet another former University of Houston star).

Despite the presence of three of the NBA’s 50 greatest players (Olajuwon, Drexler, and Barkley) in 1996, the Houston Rockets were unable to go past the Western Conference finals despite having Barkley.

They all left the team by 2001, and in the early 21st century, led by Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady, the Rockets followed the trend of steady regular-season respectability and postseason underperformance that had been the norm since the aging trio’s departure. Rebuilding began after the departures of McGrady and Yao in 2010 and 2011, respectively, as well as the departure of Chris Paul in 2012.

The team’s rebuilding was renowned for its use of complex statistical analytics (akin to sabermetrics in baseball) in the acquisition of players. The Rockets made the playoffs in 2012–13 with the NBA’s youngest roster, featuring James Harden, thanks to the team’s unconventional approach to growth. Dwight Howard was signed by the Rockets in the next off-season, and the team improved its record and made the playoffs for the second year in a row.

A 56-26 record in 2014-15 was the team’s greatest mark since the Olajuwon era and it advanced to the Western Conference Finals before falling to the Golden State Warriors. Even after an early coaching change, the Rockets were still hampered by a lack of cohesion and effort. Houston was the eighth seed in the playoffs with a 41–41 record, however, they were eliminated in five games.

New coach Mike D’Antoni developed a high-efficiency and fast-paced offense with point guard James Harden as the centerpiece. A record 1,181 three-pointers were made by the Houston Rockets in the 2016–17 season, leading to a 55–win season and a second-round playoff exit.

New addition Chris Paul was a key factor for the Rockets’ success in 2017–18, as the team established a franchise record for regular-season wins (65) and shattered its own NBA three-point field goal percentage record (1,256). The Warriors won a thrilling seven-game series against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference finals after Paul was injured in game five of that series.

This season, even though Houston struggled early on, they entered the postseason as a top-four seed. However, despite this momentum, the Warriors once again knocked Houston out of postseason contention.
