Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Los Angeles Dodgers?

In the National League, the Los Angeles Dodgers are an American professional baseball team from Los Angeles (NL). The squad has won seven World Series championships and 24 National League championships in its history.

The Atlantics, as the team was originally known, was the Dodgers’ initial Brooklyn home from when they were founded in 1883. In 1884, the squad became a member of the American Association and won the league championship in 1889. One of four American Association clubs to join the National League the following year, Brooklyn won their first NL pennant in their debut season in the league.

After the Brooklyn Dodgers joined the National League, they formed a natural rivalry with the New York Giants, which endured even after each team moved to California in 1958. The Dodgers moved to Ebbets Field in 1913 and played there until 1957 when it was demolished to make way for Wrigley Field. Before 1932, the Dodgers were known as the Grays, the Bridegrooms, the Superbas, and the Robins.

As they won the National League pennant five times but lost the World Series to New York’s Yankees each time, Dodger fans were known as “Dem Bums” and began chanting “Wait ’til next year.” By recalling African-American third baseman Jackie Robinson (whom Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey had signed to a minor league contract two years previously), the Dodgers made history in April 1947, breaking Major League Baseball’s long-standing color barrier. A lineup led by future Hall of Famers Robinson, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, and Duke Snider led the Dodgers to their first World Series title in 1955.

The first season at Chavez Ravine, a few miles from downtown Los Angeles, the Dodgers smashed multiple NL attendance records at Dodger Stadium. As a result of Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale delivering crucial pitches and base-stealing speed, the Dodgers won three World Series wins in 1959, 1963, and 1965. In the 1970s, the team won three National League pennants (1974, 1977, and 1978), but no World Series championships. Walter Alston, who had led the team to its first four world titles, abruptly stepped down at the close of the 1976 season and was replaced by fellow Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda.

With Fernando Valenzuela, the Dodgers won their fifth World Series title in 1981, making him one of the first players in baseball history to earn both Cy Young and Rookie of the Year trophies in one year. Kirk Gibson, a veteran slugger, joined Orel Hershiser, a Cy Young Award-winning pitcher, in 1988. In the World Series that year, the Dodgers beat the Oakland A’s with a stunning pinch-hit home run from Gibson in game one.

As a result, the Dodgers have not won an NL pennant since 1988; their current run is the longest in more than 60 years for the team. First-year manager Joe Torre and mid-season signing Manny Ramirez led the Dodgers to a late-season push that resulted in the NL Western Division victory in 2008. Both Torre and Ramirez left the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2010 after the team’s NLCS defeats in 2008 and 2009.

In 2008–09, the Dodgers had a successful season, but the team’s ownership was in upheaval. After Frank McCourt filed for divorce from his wife, Jamie, in 2009, a bitter legal struggle ensued about how much of the Dodgers Jamie was entitled to own. Major League Baseball took control of the team’s day-to-day operations in April 2011 after the lengthy legal processes took a heavy toll on the team’s finances and reputation. For $2.15 billion, the Dodgers were purchased by a group led by basketball legend Magic Johnson in May of that year, a record price for a professional sports franchise.

Having a new owner enabling the Dodgers to spend freely in the off-season, they won the division in 2013 but were eliminated in the NLCS for the second year in a row. For the second time in three years, the Dodgers won a division title but were knocked out in their first postseason game, despite having the largest payroll in baseball ($235 million) at the time. For the fourth straight year, the Dodgers won their division and headed to the National League Championship Series (NLCS), where they were beaten by the Chicago Cubs.

In the next season, the Dodgers made it to their first World Thriller appearance in 29 years, losing to the Houston Astros in a thrilling seven-game series. Despite losing to the Boston Red Sox in the World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers earned their sixth consecutive division crown in 2018.
