Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Colorado Rapids?

Located in Commerce City, Colorado, a suburb of Denver, the Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer team. In Major League Soccer, the Rapids are a member of Conference West (MLS). In 1996, the brand began as one of the most popular franchises in the industry. There were 10 original clubs of Major League Soccer: the Colorado Rapids, owned and operated by Anschutz Corporation. Colorado’s inaugural season in 1996 was a complete catastrophe, finishing last in the Western Conference with the worst record in the league. It was Balboa’s first goal and the first at Mile High Stadium for the team (in 1996). New head coach Glenn Myernick and general manager Dan Counce were hired for the upcoming season.

There were a number of new players brought in by Myernick and Counce including Paul Bravo, Wolde Harris, Ross Paule, and Marcus Hahnemann as a goalie. After a shaky start, the squad found its footing and advanced to the postseason. In 1997, the Rapids went all the way to the MLS Cup final by pulling off two upsets. Chris Henderson’s mid-air volley past Dallas keeper Mark Dodd in the 87th minute of the Western Conference final secured Colorado’s position in the MLS Cup final. With a goal by Adrián Paz, they made it to the Cup final but were beaten 2–1.

During the 2000 season, the Rapids had two of their most memorable moments. This year’s Goal of the Year award went to Marcelo Balboa’s bicycle kick. In 2004, Chris Henderson was a member of the Rapids organization as a player. During the 2001 season, Tim Hankinson became the new head coach of Colorado.  In the same year, the team signed Scottish striker John Spencer. Mark Chung, Chris Henderson, Carlos Valderrama, and Joe Cannon were all brought in by Hankinson, but he also signed expensive and ineffective players like Zizi Roberts and Darryl Powell. The squad made the playoffs every year.

Invesco Field at Mile High was the setting for the Rapids’ successful 2002 season, which began with the acquisition of Pablo Mastroeni and Kyle Beckerman from the now-defunct Miami Fusion F.C. When Chris Henderson scored the first goal in the new stadium’s history, it was a historic moment.

During that year’s World Cup, Mark Chung set season records while Mastroeni shined for the US Men’s National Team. As a repeat participant in the MLS Cup, Colorado triumphed in 2010. In 1997, they were beaten by D.C. United in their maiden outing. It was in 1999 that the Rochester Raging Rhinos, a non-MLS team, won the U.S. Open Cup, while the New York Cosmos finished second. Having relocated to Commerce City after the 2007-08 season, the Rapids now play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

In January 2006, Jeff Plush was named Managing Director, and he took on the club’s operational duties. When Kroenke Sports Enterprise purchased the club, they altered the colors of the team to burgundy and blue. There were also links established with Arsenal[8] of the English Premier League and Pachuca of the Mexican Liga MX, both of which play in the Champions League.

On the field, the Rapids had a 9–13–8 record in their debut season in the stadium, which included hosting various international exhibitions and competitions, as well as the 2007 MLS All-Star Game. The team started well, defeating D.C. United 2–1 despite the freezing weather. When Herculez Gomez scored in the Rapids’ new stadium, he became the team’s first goal-scorer.

Because of their lengthy losing streak, the squad dropped in the standings. In the end, the Broncos missed the playoffs by a single game. Losses to Seattle Sounders in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (5–0) and Real Salt Lake (0–1), which cost them playoff berths, and the Rocky Mountain Cup, where the season’s low points. A second consecutive year, the team won MLS Reserve League Championship. The Rapids’ general manager, Charlie Wright, bolstered the team’s midfield and defense in the summer of 2008.

Two major additions were Christian Gómez and Jose Burciaga Jr. When the Rapids took on David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy on Opening Day in 2008, they won 4–0. Due to inconsistency during the mid-season, Clavijo was forced to step down as head coach of the Rapids.

starting out on the right foot. After a 2–0 win over the Columbus Crew on the first day, things looked good. Things began to go awry as the season continued. Henao was loaned out to a Brazilian team, and Edu was signed as a replacement. In July, the Portland Timbers traded for Kosuke Kimura.

Tyson Wahl, a defender for the Montreal Impact, was soon after acquired in a trade. Hendry Thomas was brought in as a late-season boost for the Rapids after a poor season. The Rapids were eliminated from playoff contention in late September, officially ruining their prospects of earning a second MLS Cup. 2013 saw major changes for Rapids, who want a younger, more affluent group of players.
