Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT AJIT DOVAL?

Ajit Doval was born in a Garhwali family in Ghiri Banelsyun village in Pauri Garhwal in the erstwhile United Provinces, now in Uttarakhand, in 1945. Major G. N. Doval, Doval’s father, was an Indian Army officer.

He got his early education in Ajmer, Rajasthan, at the Ajmer Military School. In 1967, he earned a master’s degree in economics from Agra University. In December 2017 and May 2018, he received honorary doctorates from Agra University and Kumaun University, respectively, for his contributions in the fields of strategic and security issues, research, and literature. Amity University bestowed an honorary doctorate degree in philosophy on Ajit Doval in November 2018.

Doval entered the Indian Police Service in 1968 as an ASP in the Kottayam district of Kerala cadre. In Kerala and Punjab, he was heavily engaged in anti-insurgency operations.

Doval operated for a short time in Thalassery, Kerala, from 2 January 1972 to 9 June 1972. The job was entrusted to Doval, who was then the ASP in Kottayam, by then-Home Minister K. Karunakaran. About the fact that the Thalassery riot only lasted a few days after it started on December 28, 1971, Karunakaran decided to prevent it from worsening further, so Doval was given the task.

He was the SI in Kannur Town Police Station at the time, and his first priority after arriving in Thalassery was to recover the property looted by the rioters. He also took the looters to the attention of society and devised practical action plans to stop the violence, saying that all was back to normal within a week. “While I was not in Thalassery at the time, I had heard of him, and it is said that he was a brave police officer with huge dreams,” said Ac Vasudevan, the commandant of the Malabar Special Police. He spent five months in Thalassery before joining the central service.

In Kandahar in 1999, Doval was one of three negotiators who facilitated the release of passengers from IC-814. He is the only one who has been interested in the termination of all 15 hijackings of Indian Airlines planes between 1971 and 1999. He was the founding Chairman of the Multi Agency Centre (MAC) and the Joint Task Force on Intelligence, and he led the IB’s operations wing for over a decade at headquarters (JTFI).

Ajit Doval was involved in the intelligence for the merger of Sikkim and India. For a brief time, he was specialized in counterterrorism operations by M. K. Narayanan, India’s 3rd National Security Advisor. He was also part of the team sent to Kandahar to discuss the release of Indian Airlines flight IC-814 passengers.

He worked for the Intelligence Bureau as an Assistant Director and Special Director. Later, he was appointed Chief of the Intelligence Bureau.

In January 2005, Doval stepped down as Director of the Intelligence Bureau. He was appointed the founding Director of the Vivekananda International Foundation, a public policy think tank founded by the Vivekananda Kendra, in December 2009. Doval has been an important participant in India’s national security debate. He has given seminars on India’s security issues and foreign policy priorities at much-respected government and non-governmental organizations, security think-tanks in India and abroad, in addition to writing opinion pieces for many major newspapers and journals.

He co-wrote two studies with others on “Indian Black Money Abroad in Secret Banks and Tax Havens” in 2009 and 2011, leading in the sector as a member of the BJP’s task force.

He’s given guest lectures on geopolitical issues at the IISS in London, Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, the Australia-India Institute at the University of Melbourne, the National Defence College in New Delhi, and the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie in recent years. Doval has also spoken at international forums, citing the growing need for cooperation among the world’s big developed and emerging powers.

Doval was elected India’s fifth National Security Advisor on May 30, 2014. Doval was instrumental in ensuring the safe return of 46 Indian nurses who were stranded in a hospital in Tikrit, Iraq, in June 2014. Following ISIL’s capture of Mosul, family members lost all touch with these nurses. On June 25, 2014, Doval flew to Iraq on a top-secret mission to assess the situation on the ground and establish high-level contacts within the Iraqi government.

While the exact circumstances of their release remain undisclosed, ISIL militants handed the nurses over to Kurdish authorities in Erbil city on July 5, 2014, and they were flown back to Kochi on an Air India plane arranged by the Indian government.

He was reappointed as NSA for another five years on June 3, 2019, and granted Union Cabinet Minister Rank. Myanmar’s security forces handed over a party of 22 militants fighting in Assam and other northeastern states to the Indian government on May 15, 2020, and they were flown back in a special aircraft.

The step is seen as a big diplomacy win for India, as well as a product of the two countries’ growing intelligence and defense cooperation. This was made possible by Doval’s leadership in the talks and his policy against extremist groups in the Northeast. Doval walked out of a virtual SCO meeting on September 15, 2020, after Pakistan projected what India called a “fictitious” map comprising parts of India. Doval abruptly exited the meeting in protest of Pakistan’s change.
