Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Atlanta United FC?

Major League Soccer (MLS) side Atlanta United FC is based in Atlanta and plays in the Eastern Conference. On April 16, 2014, they became the 22nd MLS franchise club. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where Atlanta plays its home games, is shared with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.

Atlantis’ inaugural head coach was former Argentina and Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino, while the team’s first recognized player was goalie Alexander Tambakis. Against New York Red Bulls, Yamil Asad scored Atlanta United’s first-ever goal, which they lost 2-1.

As a new team, Atlanta finished in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and fourth overall in their first season. Despite losing their first game 2-1 to the New York Red Bulls, they rebounded with a 6-1 win over fellow expansion team Minnesota United. When they trounced New England Revolution 7-0 on September 13, 2017, they tied the record for the largest win margin in a game.

They made the playoffs but lost 1-0 to Columbus Crew in the last round. They were defeated 3-2 by Miami FC of the USL Championship in the U.S. Open Cup. Josef Martnez was the club’s leading scorer with a total of 19 goals for the season.

Atlanta won its first championship in team history in its second season (2018). As the Eastern Conference’s runner-up as well as the league’s top team, they earned a spot in the postseason. They had to beat New York City FC 4-1 in the conference semifinals and the New York Red Bulls 3-1 in the conference finals to get to the championship game. Josef Martnez and Franco Escobar scored both of their goals in the MLS Cup Final to give them a 2-0 victory over the Portland Timbers. Atlanta also set a new MLS attendance record of 73,019 for this game, making it the most-watched game in the league’s history.

For the first time in the club’s existence, Atlanta has earned a berth in the CONCACAF Champions League. When they lost 1-0 against the Chicago Fire in the US Open Cup round of 16, they were eliminated from the competition. For the second year in a row, Josef Martnez ended as the team’s leading scorer and was awarded the MLS Golden Boot for his 31 goals (an MLS record at the time, until Carlos Vela broke the record in the 2019 season with 34 goals).

It was a new year for Atlanta United, with head coach Gerardo Martino taking the reins of the Mexican national team. Ex-Ajax and Barcelona player Frank de Boer has been named Atlanta’s next manager. Atlanta finished second in the Eastern Conference and third overall under de Boer’s leadership. When Toronto FC beat Atlanta United 2-1 in the MLS Playoff Conference Finals, Atlanta couldn’t defend their title.

On August 14, Atlanta won the Campeones Cup, their first trophy of the season. It’s a matchup between the MLS champion from last season and Liga MX’s champion from this season. The Atlanta Braves beat Club América 3-2 in the championship game. A mere 13 days after their first championship of the season, Atlanta United clinched a 2-1 victory over Minnesota United in the U.S. Open Cup final. In their first appearance in the CONCACAF Champions League, they advanced to the quarterfinals.

After trailing 3-1 against Herediano, they rallied to upset the Costa Rican club 5-3 in the round of 16 but were beaten by eventual winners Monterrey. When Josef Martnez scored in 15 straight games during the MLS season of 2019, he became the first player to do so. Atlanta United has one of the most passionate followings in the whole Major League Soccer (MLS). In the three seasons, they’ve been a club, they’ve achieved various attendance records.

Since the start of the season in 2018, they’ve averaged 53,002. 72,317 fans attended the All-Star game, the most ever. They set a new record for the most fans in attendance at a U.S. Open Cup Final in 2019, with 35,709 in attendance. Against the Los Angeles Galaxy on August 3, 2019, Atlanta drew 72,548 fans, the most ever for a single MLS game.

On February 10, 2017, Atlanta United officially retired the number 17 from their roster. Dedicated to the fans as a show of gratitude for their support and love for the club, it was retired. The 2017 season is their first as a member of the Major League Soccer (MLS) (2017). Asked to give up his number, Josef Martnez was more than pleased to do so “for the people of Atlanta” as the number had been his for the duration of his career.
