Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT BHAVISH AGGARWAL?

With his buddy Ankit Bhati, Bhavish Aggarwal started the ride-sharing firm Ola Cabs in December 2010. Ola is active in more than 250 cities throughout the world, including those in India, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Peer-to-peer ridesharing in luxury or regular cars, auto-rickshaws, bikes, taxis, and food delivery are among the company’s many offerings. The company, which is valued at around $10 billion and is backed by several venture capitalists including SoftBank Group Corp. and Sequoia Capital, also provides over a dozen other services. Bhavish Aggarwal, a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, spent two years with Microsoft Research India before starting his own business.

In 2014, Frost and Sullivan honored him with their “Innovation in Transportation Award.” The Economic Times awarded Ola the “Startup of the Year” that same year, while Forbes India gave the company their “Leadership Award for Outstanding Startup.” He has been dubbed “Entrepreneur of the Year” by The Economic Times and “30 under 30” by both Hindustan Times and Forbes.

The bad luck that befell Bhavish Aggarwal in the form of a leased car on a weekend excursion with friends from Bengaluru to Bandipur was the impetus for him to launch a ride-sharing firm. The automobile broke down in Mysore, and the driver had them take the bus the rest of the way because he wanted more money than they had agreed to pay. He was 23 years old and had just quit his job in Microsoft’s research division to pursue other interests.

He came to the conclusion that there was a need for an automobile rental service that put the client first and offered low rates. On December 3, 2010, he and Ankit Bhati, also an IITian from Jodhpur, launched Olatrips.com as an online cab aggregator in Mumbai through which customers could reserve cars for out-of-town travel. They had to make do with “shoestring savings” since they lacked sufficient working capital and were unsupported by investors.

In 2012, they started responding to consumer requests for rides by phone. Tiger Global Management invested $5 million soon after the Smartphone app was released. Snapdeal’s Kunal Bahl, Anupam Mittal, and Rehan Yar Khar all invested in him without him having any prior business experience. Two years after its founding, with the help of finance from Silicon Valley’s Sequoia Capital and Japan’s SoftBank, the company had amassed a 60% market share in India and was processing over 15 lakh bookings per day by 2014. In January 2018, the company expanded its operations to Australia, then in September of same year to New Zealand, and finally in March of 2019, it entered the United Kingdom market.

For three months in 2007, Bhavish Aggarwal was an intern at Microsoft Research India while he was still a student at IIT Bombay. After finishing university in July 2008, he began working as an assistant researcher for Microsoft. He served in that capacity for slightly over two years, during which time he submitted two patent applications and had three articles published in peer-reviewed publications on a global scale. He also formerly maintained a blog at desitech.in, where he wrote largely about tech startups in India.

Born to two medical professionals on August 28, 1985 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, Bhavish Aggarwal has spent his entire life surrounded by the medical field. He spent time with his family both in Afghanistan and the United Kingdom during his formative years. He spent a year at a coaching center in Kota, Rajasthan, after failing the IIT entrance exam the first time around, and ultimately placed twenty-third. In 2004, he enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and by 2008, he had earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. His folks had their doubts about him starting a “tourism agency” after graduating from IIT, but they let him try it out nonetheless.

Since 2007, Bhavish Aggarwal has been in a relationship with Rajalakshmi, a marketing manager and analyst at Ernst & Young who is Tamil. The two became engaged in June of 2013 and were married at the beginning of 2014. Even when he was financially strapped, she stood by him, and he used her car to pick up clients a few times. Because Bhavish is so busy, she tries to manage their relationship by “personally putting down our scheduled date nights, treks, and quality time for our pets” on his calendar. But it took him three years to finally get his ex-girlfriend to download Ola.

However, once Ola began operating in Ludhiana, his parents found out about his company’s success when their driver quit and signed up with Ola, purchasing his own car. Bhavish Aggarwal told Bloomberg that despite his mother’s initial displeasure, she “feels liberated” because she can now “summon a car” whenever she needs one. He and his family have made Bengaluru their permanent home. A native of Ludhiana, Punjab, Bhavish Aggarwal entered the world on August 28, 1985. In 2008, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. Bhavish has a photography blog, enjoys playing squash, and cycles often.

In 2008, Aggarwal embarked on a career as a blogger by launching a website called Desitech.in. His blog covers topics such as Indian start-ups, geek culture, and related events. It was at Microsoft Research India where he got his start in the field: as a research intern. For two years, he was an employee at Microsoft. By leaving his secure and well-paying position at Microsoft Research India, Aggarwal took a significant personal risk in order to establish his online cab rental enterprise. Along with Ankit Bhati, Bhavish established “OLA CABS” in Bengaluru in 2010 under the ownership of ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company that had previously operated under a different name.

In the same vein as other online markets, OlaCabs specializes in the provision of cab aggregator, ridesharing, and taxi services. Commonly abbreviated as “Ola,” it is a popular voice-activated assistant. Aggarwal originally operated in Mumbai as a taxi booking platform. It is widely recognized as one of India’s most dynamic companies.

Bhavish Aggarwal is the CEO of OLA Cabs and a successful entrepreneur. Among modern day Indian business owners, Bhavish Aggarwal is a household name. He was born into the Ludhiana branch of the Bania/Baniya family, so he has a Punjabi accent and is essentially a local. Beginning as a Research Intern, he eventually returned to Microsoft Research India in the role of Assistant Researcher.

Presently, OLA has a market capitalization of around $6.5 Billion (Rs 48,750 Crores) and may be purchased in many different countries including Australia, New Zealand, London, etc. Bhavish’s idea for OLA came from a personal experience in which he was overcharged by a driver. In addition, on December 3rd, 2010, he began working at OLA.

OLA generates revenue through various means, including rider booking fees, driver security deposits, and others. Its primary office is in the Indian city of Bengaluru, Karnataka. As of the year 2022, OLA has a net value of about $6.5 billion (around Rs. 48,750.00) and is expected to keep expanding. OLA is one of the few Indian businesses with a global presence today, earning it the title of “Unicorn of India.”

Now, OLA has offices all over the world, including in London, New Zealand, Australia, and a host of others. Five to six lakh people are directly and indirectly employed by it.
