Kanneganti Brahmanandam is an Indian actor, comedian, and director best known for his Telugu film career. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the most screen credits by a live actor, with over 1,000 credits to his name.

Brahmanandam was born in Sattenapalli, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, on February 1, 1956. He is 65 years old. His birth sign is Aquarius. His father’s name is Kanneganti Nagalingachari and his mother’s name is Kanneganti Lakshmi Narsamma.

Bramhanandam is the father of two sons, Raja Gautham and Siddarth, who he married Lakshmi. Gautham is also a film actor who has appeared in movies like Pallakilo Pellikuthuru (2004) and Manu (2018). Gautham is married and the father of a son, who was born in 2017.

In January 2009, the Indian government awarded Brahmanandam the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian distinction, for his contributions to art. Dookudu won the Hyderabad Times Film Awards for Best Actor in a Comedy Role (2011). Attarintiki Daredi won the TSR – TV9 National Film Award for Best Comedian (2013).

In 2009, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to Indian cinema. Brahmanandam is considered as one of India’s best comic performers, known for his comic expressions in particular. Brahmanandam has won six state Nandi Awards, one Filmfare Award South, six CineMAA Awards, and three South Indian International Movie Awards, making him one of India’s highest-paid comedy actors.
