Creflo Dollar is a televangelist and the founder of the nondenominational World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. He was born on January 28, 1962, in College Park, Georgia, United States. Currently, he is 59 years old. The name of his parents is not available.

Creflo Dollar earned a B.S. in Educational Therapy in 1984 and went on to get masters and doctoral degrees in counselling. He afterwards moved to work at Atlanta’s Brawner Psychiatric Institute.

In 1986, Dollar founded World Changers Ministries Christian Center. With only eight individuals in attendance, he hosted the church’s inaugural worship service in the cafeteria of Kathleen Mitchell Elementary School in College Park.

The congregation relocated from the cafeteria to a dedicated chapel when he renamed the ministry World Changers Church International (WCCI). Each Sunday, four services were held, as well as a weekly radio broadcast by Creflo.

On December 24, 1995, WCCI relocated into its current home, the World Dome, an 8,500-seat venue. The approximately $20 million World Dome, according to the church, was erected without any financial backing. The church reported over 30,000 members in 2007 and $70 million in earnings in 2006.

In January 2013, the charges against him were dismissed after he completed anger management sessions.
