Dimple Yadav Biography:
Dimple Yadav was born in Almora, Uttarakhand, on 15 January 1978. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. She did her schooling from different locations, such as Pune, Bathinda, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the Army Public School in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her graduation in B.Com from Lucknow University in 1998.

Dimple Yadav is a member of the Other Backward Caste (OBC). Her father’s name is Colonel R C Rawat. He is a retired officer of the Indian Army. Her mother’s name is Champa Rawat. She was a housewife. Dimple is married to the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav. She is the daughter-in-law of the Supreme Samajwadi Party, Mulayam Singh Yadav. The couple is blessed with three children together. They’ve got two daughters, Aditi Yadav and Tina Yadav, and a son, Arjun Yadav. Arjun and Tina, they’re twins.
Dimple met Akhilesh Yadav when she was 17 years old. At that time, Akhilesh was 21 years old, and he was studying in college. They met at a house of common friends. She began to meet him secretly, and after a year of dating, Akhilesh went to Sydney, Australia, to pursue engineering. They used to exchange letters on a regular basis. They decided to get married after they returned from Sydney. Earlier, their families did not agree to their marriage; they had different backgrounds. After a lot of persuasive communication, their families agreed and they got married in 1999.
Career:
Dimple Yadav has never been passionate about politics. After her marriage, she had plans to be a housewife and to run a family business. She contested her first election in 2009 but lost to Congressman Raj Babbar. In 2012, Akhilesh Yadav resigned from Lok Sabha to join the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council, having been elected Chief Minister of the UP. He emptied the Kannauj Lok Sabha Constituency, making way for Dimple to compete from there. She was elected without opposition in the Kannauj Uttar Pradesh, by-election.
Dimple became the 44th personality in all of India, and the 4th person in Uttar Pradesh to be elected without opposition in the elections. She is also the first woman to be elected without opposition from Uttar Pradesh. It challenged the Kannauj General Election of 2019, Uttar Pradesh. She lost to BJP’s Subhrat Pathak, with a margin of over 12,000 votes.
Controversy:
In 2007, Dimple Yadav was named in a case involving unfair assets, along with the entire Yadav family. During the investigation and interrogation, Dimple demonstrated that she used to file her taxes separately so that her income could not be merged with the rest of the Yadav family. In the case, the Solicitor General of India, the ruling body of the CBI, and the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) upheld her defense. Dimple’s name has been dropped from the investigation.
