Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT HEMANT SOREN?

Hemant Soren is the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand. He is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He had previously served as Chief Minister of Jharkhand from July 2013 to December 2014. He is also the chief of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, a Jharkhand political party.

Hemant Soren was born on August 10, 1975, in Nemara, Bihar’s Ramgarh district. Roopi and Shibu Soren, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, are his parents’ names. Hemant has a sister and two daughters. His educational background includes an Intermediate diploma from Patna High School in Patna, Bihar. Hemant enrolled in BIT Mesra, Ranchi, but dropped out, according to an affidavit filed with the Election Commission.

He is the father of two sons and is married to Kalpana Soren. Basant Soren, his younger brother, and Anjali, his sister, are his siblings. He is a devout disciple of Birsa Munda, a nineteenth-century tribal warrior whose bravery and valour he admires.

From June 24, 2009, to January 4, 2010, he served in the Rajya Sabha. On December 23, 2009, he began his political career as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Later, from September 11, 2010, to January 8, 2013, he served as the deputy chief minister of Jharkhand.

After President’s rule was lifted from the province, he was sworn in as Chief Minister of Jharkhand on July 15, 2013, with the help of the Congress and the RJD. In December 2019, he was re-elected Chief Minister of Jharkhand and sworn in on December 29.

In 2016, the BJP government in Jharkhand attempted to amend the Chhota Nagpur Tenancy Act and the Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act, allowing Adivasi land to be used for non-agricultural purposes and allowing Adivasi land to be transferred for the construction of highways, canals, educational institutions, hospitals, and other “government purposes.” This sparked widespread outrage in the state, with Hemant leading the charge against the amendments.

In 2017, CM Raghubar Das welcomed Hemant to the Global Investors Summit, but Hemant denounced the event as a “maha chintan shivir of land grabbers” organised to plunder the land of Adivasis, Moolvasis, and state farmers.

In October 2017, he requested a CBI investigation into the death of Santoshi Kumari, an 11-year-old girl who died of malnutrition in Simdega after her family had been refused rations since July because their Aadhaar number had not been seeded to their bank account. Soren also demanded that Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma be prosecuted for issuing a video conferencing order removing the names of families who had not matched their Ration Cards to their Aadhaar numbers.

He is in favour of Jharkhand following Bihar’s lead and prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages. He said this in response to the opening of liquor retail outlets in the state “The government is now planning to open liquor outlets in villages, which would have an effect on the lives of Jharkhand’s poor tribals. I urge the state’s rural citizens to oppose the establishment of liquor stores in their communities.” He went on to say that women’s associations would have to step in to fight the government’s liquor drive.

Hemant Soren was sworn in as Chief Minister of Jharkhand on December 29, 2019, alongside Congress leaders Alamgir Alam and Rameshwar Oraon and lone RJD legislator Satyanand Bhokta, following the victory of the JMM, INC, and RJD alliance in the 2019 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election.
