Parth Samthaan is an Indian television actor best known for his roles in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan and Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Manik Malhotra and Anurag Basu, respectively. Samthaan began his acting career with roles in Life OK’s Savdhaan India, MTV India’s Webbed, Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
He played Prithvi Sanyal alongside Charlie Chauhan in Channel V’s Best Friends Forever? in 2012. In MTV India’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, he played Manik Malhotra opposite Niti Taylor from 2014 to 2015. For the second season, his character was brought back.
In 2016, Samthaan signed his first Bollywood film, Googly Ho Gayi. For his second song, Jind Meri, he also tried playback singing. In 2018, he appeared in Voot’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 3 as Manik Malhotra.
Samthaan played Anurag Basu alongside Erica Fernandes in Star Plus’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay from 2018 to 2020, for which he received the Indian Telly Award for Best Jodi Popular and the Kalakar Award for Best Actor Popular.
He’ll be in ALT Balaji’s forthcoming web series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu in 2020. In Parth Samthaan’s forthcoming love song “Pehle Pyaar Ka Pehla Gham,” Khushali Kumar also appears. Jubin Nautiyal and Tulsi Kumar sang the song.
