Sebastian Stan is a Romanian-American actor. Stan’s career began in earnest in 2003 with a part on Law & Order, after an appearance in the 1994 film 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance. Stan appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s caper comedy Logan Lucky as NASCAR racer Dayton White, as Jeff Gillooly in Craig Gillespie’s biopic I, Tonya, and acted in the drama I’m Not Here in 2017.

In 2018, Stan reprised his role as Winter Soldier in both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War as an uncredited cameo. After that, he starred alongside Nicole Kidman in the thriller Destroyer. We Have Always Lived in the Castle, an adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name, starred Stan as Charles Blackwood.

Stan’s first film of 2019 was Avengers: Endgame, in which he reprised his role as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier and was released in April. Endings, Beginnings, his second feature of the year, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Stan has a number of forthcoming projects on his plate. In the Vietnam War drama film The Last Full Measure, he will play protagonist Scott Huffman, and it will be released in January 2020. Stan will also feature in Monday and The Chain. In February 2019, he took over as Chris Evans’ Marvel co-star in the drama film The Devil All the Time, which will be released on Netflix in 2020.

In April 2019, Disney announced that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a Marvel television series featuring Stan and Anthony Mackie, would premiere on Disney+ on March 19, 2021. Stan joins the cast of the spy thriller The 355, which began production in July of this year.
