The stage name for American actress, model and author Judith Therese Evans is Judy Greer who is best known in Fox’s site ‘Arrested Development’ for portraying Kitty Sanchez. She attended Churchill High School and worked for a decade during her early years in classical Russian ballet. She later became interested in acting and graduated from the prestigious Chicago Theater School at DePaul University in 1997. Judy Greer, who had several odd jobs during her college, played her first film role three days after graduation in a romantic 1998 comedy called ‘Kissing a Fool.’ At first, she moved to California for the film premiere but decided to settle there after she had been a part of the “Jawbreaker” dark comedy (1999).

She debuted on TV in 1997 in the ‘Angels and Devils’ episode of fantasy drama ‘Early Edition’ and in 1999 she played a recurring role in the ‘Love and Money’ CBS sitcom. In the course of that time, she was involved in a host of films including “Three Kings,” “The Specials,” “What Women Want,” “The Marriage Planner” and “Adaptation.”

In 2002, she appeared with Stephen Colbert on the basis of the Canadian show ‘The Newsroom’ in an untitled Ken Finkleman project but was later cancelled.

She took her leading role in 2003 in Fox sitcom ‘Arrested Development’ as Kitty Sanchez, successfully running over three episodes, and later renewed for Netflix in 2013 for a fourth season.

In the following years she continued to appear in movies like ’13 Going on 30′ (2004), ‘The Village’ (2004), “Cursed’ (2005), ‘Elizabethtown’ (2005), and ’27 Dresses’ (2008).

She played the role of guest in “ER,” “House,” “Modern Family,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “How I Met your Mother,” and “Warren’s Ape” during this time.

During this time, her film credits included ‘Love Happens,’ ‘Love & Other Drugs,’ ‘The Descendants’ and ‘Jeff, who lives at home,’ respectively.
