Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT MUKHTAR ANSARI?

Mukhtar Ansari is an Uttar Pradesh politician. He has been elected to the Legislative Assembly five years in a row from the Mau constituency. He was the main suspect in the assassination of BJP chief Krishnanand Rai but was acquitted in 2019.

Mukhtar Ansari was born on 30 June 1963, in Yusufpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the grandson of Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari, an early Indian National Congress chief. The government-commissioned several infrastructure schemes in the backward Poorvanchal district in the early 1970s. As a result, organised cartels arose to compete with one another for the contracts for these ventures. Mukhtar Ansari was a member of the Makhanu Singh gang at one time.

This gang battled another gang headed by Sahib Singh over a plot of land in Saidpur in the 1980s, culminating in a series of violent incidents. In the 1990s, Brijesh Singh, a former member of Sahib Singh’s gang, formed his own gang and took over Ghazipur’s contract work mafia. Ansari’s gang fought with him for ownership of a $100 million contract company that included coal mining, railway building, scrap disposal, public works, and the liquor industry. Apart from running security and extortion rackets, the gangs were also active in other illegal activities such as kidnapping.

Mukhtar Ansari was well-known in the districts of Mau, Ghazipur, Varanasi, and Jaunpur for his illegal activities. He got into politics in 1995 through the Banaras Hindu University student union, became an MLA in 1996, and began questioning Brijesh Singh’s dominance. In the Poorvanchal district, the two were the biggest gang rivals. Singh ambushed Ansari’s convoy in 2002. In the ensuing shootout, three of Ansari’s men were killed. Brijesh Singh was seriously wounded and is said to be dead.

In Poorvanchal, Ansari established himself as the undisputed gang boss. Brijesh Singh, however, was later discovered to be alive, and the feud resumed. To address Ansari’s political clout, Singh backed BJP leader Krishnanand Rai’s election campaign. In the 2002 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Rai defeated Mukhtar Ansari’s brother, Afzal Ansari, a five-time MLA from Mohammadabad. Rai used his political position to give all the contracts to Brijesh Singh’s gang, according to Mukhtar Ansari, and the two plotted to kill him.

During the elections in the Ghazipur-Mau district, Ansari used the Muslim vote bank to ensure his victory. His opponents sought to mobilise the Hindu electorate, which was split along caste lines. Several incidents of sectarian violence occurred in the city as a result of the combination of criminality, politics, and religion. Mukhtar Ansari was arrested during one of these protests on charges of inciting people to violence.

As Ansari was incarcerated, Krishnanand Rai and his six aides were shot and killed in broad daylight. With the aid of Ramashrey Giri, the attackers shot over 400 bullets from six AK-47 rifles, retrieving 67 bullets from the seven bodies. In 2006, Shashikant Rai, a key witness in the investigation, was discovered dead in mysterious circumstances.

He had named the two gunmen who targeted Rai’s convoy as Ansari and Bajrangi’s attackers, Angad Rai and Gora Rai. His death was ruled a suicide by the police. After Rai’s murder, Ansari’s rival Brijesh Singh escaped from the Ghazipur-Mau district. He was later arrested in Orissa in 2008 and later joined the Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party as a member.

Ansari was arrested in 2008 for ordering the assassination of Dharmendra Singh, a witness in a murder case. However, the survivor later filed an affidavit asking that the charges against Ansari be dismissed. Ansari was cleared of murder on September 27, 2017.

Ansari and his wife also had heart attacks in jail on January 9, 2018. Before the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative elections, Ansari rejoined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on January 26, 2017. A few months earlier, there was widespread talk that the Ansari brothers would join the Samajwadi Camp. Mayawati, the BSP’s leader, defended his admission to the group, claiming that the criminal charges levelled against Ansari had not been proved and that the party allows citizens to reform.

In 2017, Ansari merged his Quami Ekta Dal with the BSP and stood for the state assembly seat of Mau as a BSP candidate. By 6464 votes, he beat Mahendra Rajbhar of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party.
