Naveen Polishetty is a Telugu and Hindi film actor and screenwriter from India. He was born on December 26, 1989, in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. His father works in the pharmaceutical industry, and his mother works for a bank.
He went on to work for a software corporation in Pune after graduating from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (also known as NIT Bhopal). Later, he travelled to England and returned to seek a full-time acting career. He began his career in theatre and appeared in a variety of productions.
With the Telugu film Life Is Wonderful, Naveen Polishetty made his debut (2012). He also appeared in Mahesh Babu’s 1: Nenokkadine in a minor role (2014). Polishetty switched to theatre and stand-up comedy after his subsequent Telugu ventures were either shelved or replaced by other stars.
Later, he collaborated on YouTube skits with All India Bakchod. For his depiction as a “ordinary” person in Honest Engineering Campus Placements, he received a lot of positive feedback.
Polishetty made a comeback to Telugu cinema in 2019 with the comedy thriller Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, which he co-wrote and starred in.
