Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Orlando Magic?

a National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise headquartered in Orlando, Florida, that competes in the Eastern Conference (NBA). There are two Eastern Conference championships in the Magic’s kitty (1995, 2009).

In the 1989–90 season, the squad joined the NBA as an expansion team together with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Prior to the 1992 NBA draught, the Magic had an average season and a poor record. But when it selected Shaquille O’Neal with the first overall pick, the Magic began a remarkable turnaround.

The Magic, led by O’Neal, improved their record from the previous year by 20 wins in his first season, finishing with a 41–41 record and a tie for the Eastern Conference’s final playoff spot, which they lost to the Indiana Pacers in a tiebreaker. Because of the tiebreaker loss, the Magic were able to participate in the 1993 NBA draught lottery, which they won despite having a 1.5% chance of winning the first overall pick. For the third pick, point guard Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway and future draught picks, the franchise traded Chris Webber.

1993–94 marked the Magic’s first playoff appearance, and they bettered that achievement in 1994–95 by making the NBA finals in their sixth season of existence. Even though they lost four games in a row to the Houston Rockets, the Magic’s future seemed bright.

However, O’Neal left Orlando for the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996 after earning the richest free-agent contract in NBA history, and the team was left without its main star. In 1999, the Magic traded away the injury-plagued Hardaway in a stretch of regular-season success followed by losses in the first round of the playoffs.

In 2003–04, Orlando had the worst record in the NBA, although the team won the draught lottery again at the end of the season. Dwight Howard, a high school center, was drafted by the Magic with their first-round pick, and the team immediately began a dramatic turnaround. Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis were free-agent acquisitions for the Magic in 2007–08, and the team advanced to the second round of the playoffs.

The Magic made it to the NBA finals for the second time in three seasons in the 2008–09 season, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in a five-game series. A great 2009–10 season was followed by Turkoglu’s departure, but the Magic lost to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference final. During the 2011–12 season, Howard began to openly call for a trade, and he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in August 2012.

That season, the Magic had the worst record in the NBA (20–62), which was the first of five straight divisional bottom-six finishes for the struggling team. An unexpected division title and a first-round playoff exit were the Magic’s outcomes in 2018–19 under new head coach Steve Clifford. Clifford and the franchise parted ways at the end of the 2020–21 season after the team traded away many of its significant contributors and finished with the third-worst regular-season record in the NBA.

American basketball player Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal, better known by his nickname Shaq (born March 6, 1972), is a member of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Hall of Fame.

In San Antonio, Texas, as a high-school senior, O’Neal’s team won the state championship, drawing the attention of college recruiters. Louisiana State University (LSU) is where he made a name for himself as a top-tier basketball player in the country. In 1991, he was unanimously voted the best college basketball player in the country. In 1992, after dropping out of college, Shaquille O’Neal entered the NBA draught and was selected first overall by the Orlando Magic. However, in 2000, he completed his studies and got a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University.

O’Neal was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 1992–93, leading the Magic to a record of 41–41, a 20-win improvement over the season before. For the second time in his career, he earned the scoring title and led Orlando to a trip to the NBA finals. As a result of Houston’s rout of the Magic, Shaquille O’Neal gained a bad rap for dropping crucial games.

With his enormous stature and power, O’Neal was practically unstoppable on the attacking end of the court—he stood 7 feet 1 inch (2.16 meters) tall and weighed 315 pounds (143 kg). “Hack-a-Shaq” opponents devised a tactic of purposefully fouling him, knowing that he was less likely to make free throws than to score a field goal.

As a member of the 1996 Olympic basketball team, O’Neal helped lead the U.S. to a gold medal, which he achieved the same year he joined the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite O’Neal’s offensive prowess, his teams were unable to go past the first round of the playoffs. Until the start of the 1999–2000 season, when he was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player under new Lakers coach Phil Jackson (MVP).

At the behest of Jackson, O’Neal developed into a more team-oriented player, focusing on defense, rebounding, and the free-throw line. As a result, he led the Lakers to three consecutive championships in 2001, 2002, and 2003, winning the Finals MVP title each time he did so.
