Pearl V Puri is also called by the name Golu. He was born on 10 July 1989 in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Pearl finished his schooling at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School, Chhindwara, and Ragendra Swarup Public School, Agra. Pearl has been very interested in music since childhood. When he was 7th, he used to hear Kailash Kher’s songs, which motivated him to write a lot of songs, and later he began singing and writing music.
After schooling, he began his college at St. John’s College, Agra, and finished his MBA in correspondence. His mother gave him the name ‘Pearl.’ His strict father wanted him to join the family business, but he wanted to become an actor. To achieve his dream of becoming an actor, he left his cuddly life and home in Agra and reached Mumbai, where he initially fought a lot like any other newcomer. His father was against his decision to become an actor, but his mother always supported him and even gave him a car on his birthday. His innovative role came when he was cast as Abheer Malhotra in the Star Plus show “Phir Bhi Na Maane… Badtamez Dil.” But the show went off-air suddenly, and after huge public demand, they were able to see it on Hotstar and got 3.5 million hits a day.
Another huge role that made him a rising star is that of Mahir Sehgal in Naagin 3, which broadcasted on Colors TV.
He also played two other leading roles, Satyendra Sharma in Meri Saasu Ma on Zee Tv and Arjun Shastri in Nagarjuna-Ek Yoddha.
