Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT SAMBIT PATRA?
Sambit Patra was born in Bokaro Steel City on December 13, 1974. Rabindra Nath Patra, his father, worked at the Bokaro Steel Plant. His father worked as a steel worker at the Bokaro Steel Plant.
He attended Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Bokaro for his primary and intermediate education. In 1997, he received his MBBS from VSS Medical College and Hospital in Burla, Odisha, and in 2002, he received his Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from SCB Medical College in Cuttack, Utkal University. In 2003, he passed the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination and began working as a Medical Officer at Rao Hospital in Malka Ganj, Delhi.
Patra’s political career began in 2010 when he entered the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi unit as a spokesperson. Patra ran unsuccessfully for the BJP in a civic election in Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate in 2012, and at the same time resigned from his job to enter politics full-time. Patra lobbied for the BJP and appeared on national television in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Patra became the BJP’s national spokesman after the party was elected to power. He was appointed as a non-official director of ONGC by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) in 2017.
Patra ran for the Puri Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 Indian general election, but was defeated by Pinaki Misra of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) by 11,700 votes. Patra debuted a distorted version of the iconic Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima photograph in February 2016. During a television debate, Patra claimed that the image depicted Indian Army soldiers on India’s border, when in fact, the image depicted an island in the Pacific Ocean and referred to events in 1945 during WWII.
Patra had shown video allegedly showing Kanhaiya Kumar yelling secessionist slogans in Jawaharlal Nehru University during another television debate.
Patra was named to the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) Board as an independent/non-official director (NOD) in September 2017 for a three-year renewable period. Being an involved member and official spokesman for the ruling party (BJP) was seen as a breach of the companies act, and Energy Watchdog filed a complaint in the Delhi High Court (NGO).
The entire selection process was also claimed to be “flawed,” according to the petition. The PIL was dismissed by the Delhi High Court in November 2017 because it was “unsubstantiated” and “without substance.” The court also claimed that challenging Patra’s independence to discharge his official duties as an independent director based solely on his BJP affiliation would be “Extremely Unacceptable.” The Supreme Court then instructed the NGO that filed the PIL to “serve a copy to the Union of India.” The Supreme Court bench adjourned the case until a later date, saying, “We will give formal notice after hearing preliminary arguments.”
Patra tweeted a bogus video of ex-INC MLA Naseem Khan chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in February 2020, causing Khan to file a police complaint in Mumbai.
