He started his career on television as a reality show host on Star Vijay. In 2012, he appeared in the Dhanush movie 3 in a supporting role. In 2013, he appeared in three films: Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Ethir Neechal and Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. His successes in the year led him to win the 2013 Vijay Award for Entertainer of the Year.

Biography:

Sivakarthikeyan was born on 17 February 1985. He did his schooling from Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, and college studies from J.J. College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. His father’s name is Late G. Doss and his mother’s name is Raji Doss.

On 27 August 2010, he married Aarthi. The couple also has a daughter Aaradhana(born 2013).

He is an Indian actor, playback singer, author, lyricist, and TV presenter who works in Tamil movies. He is making films under his production company, Sivakarthikeyan Productions. He received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award, four Edison Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and three Vijay Awards.

Career:

He began his acting career through television as a comedian and reality show personality at Star Vijay. When he was in college he performed several mimicry and comedy role on stage. During his studies, he took three months break to go for the auditions of a reality show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and he won the show. Then he appeared in a few short films like Mugapputhagam, Kurahl 786 and 360 and Identity, etc. He made his lead role debut by the film Marina which was directed by Pandiraj. His performance was mind-blowing and gave a major success at the box office.

In 2019, Sivakarthikeyan appeared in the family drama film Namma Veetu Pillai and in a Super Hero film Hero. His next releases are Doctor and Ayalan in 2020
