Sumedh Vasudev Mudgalkar was born on 2 November 1996 in Pune, Maharashtra. Since childhood, he was obsessed with dance. His family also encouraged him, and he moved from Pune to Mumbai to follow his dreams.
His love for dance encouraged him to show off his talent in Dance Maharashtra Dance (2012). And in 2013, he participated in Dance India Dance 4, where his excellent dance success won him the nickname “Beat King.”
His impressive dance performance at Dance India Dance 4 won him his debut performance at Dil Dosti Dance (2014) on Channel V, where he played the role of Raghav.
His acting skills were first noticed when he played the negative role of “Yuvraj Sushim” in Colors TV’s historical drama series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
The very next year, he took his first Marathi film as a leading actor in Manjha, where he played the role of Vicky, a jihadist character. His appearance as young Krishna in the mythological show of Swastik Picture RadhaKrishn provided him with a breakthrough appearance in the hearts of the people.
Sumedh Mudgalkar is a middle-class Marathi family member. His father’s name is Vasudev Mudgalkar, and his mother’s name is Vasanti Mudgalkar. He has two brothers, Samiran Mudgalkar and Sanket Mudgalkar.
While dance has always been Sumedh’s passion, he never let it impede his studies. He studied at Sinhgad Springdale Public School, Pune, and graduated in Economics from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. He began to take part in dance shows when he was in school and proceeded to do TV shows and movies when seeking his graduation. After playing the role of younger Krishna in the epic love saga of Lord Krishna and Radha, he became a household name alongside Mallika Singh in Star Bharat’s RadhaKrishn.
