Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT T M KRISHNA?

T M Krishna was born on January 22, 1976, in Chennai, India, to T. M. Rangachari and his wife Prema Rangachari. In Anaikatti, Tamil Nadu, his mother and maternal uncle, Dr. Sriram Subramaniam, established and operated Vidya Vanam, a school for tribal and underprivileged children. Krishna is the grandson of T.T. Krishnamachari, a Congress politician and freedom fighter who was also a founder member of the Madras Music Academy.

Krishna is a graduate of Chennai’s The School. Krishna earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Madras’ Vivekananda College. Sangeetha Sivakumar, a well-known Carnatic singer, is his wife. In Chennai, he lives with his partner, Carnatic vocalist Sangeetha Sivakumar, and their two children.

Krishna’s parents were passionate about the arts, especially Carnatic music. His mother had received traditional south Indian music lessons as a child and also obtained a degree in Carnatic music. Krishna’s parents made sure he was introduced to classical arts from an early age. From a young age, they arranged for him to receive music lessons. Bhagavathula Seetharama Sharma was Krishna’s first musical tutor. Later, he was groomed in the Ragam Thanam Pallavi style by Chingleput Ranganathan.

Krishna’s performing career started when he was 12 years old, when he appeared at the Music Academy’s Spirit of Youth series (India). Since then, he has played at several festivals and venues around the world, including the Madras Music Academy, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (India), the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, to name a few.

His music is often described as soulful and full of ‘raga bhava.’ ‘Jambupathe’ in Yamunakalyani and ‘Manavinala’ in Nalinakanthi are two of his most famous renditions among his listeners. During the previous decade, his music was known for his strong, deep voice and his ability to sing rapid swaras in a variety of rare ragas. He is now working on Neraval, an improvised form that he feels has been corrupted over time.

He is also known for his ‘innovations’ in the way he performs his concerts, with purists objecting to the fact that he makes varnams in the middle of a performance. He’s also working on a project that will see Dikshithar compositions from the Sangeetha Sampradaya Pradarshini made exactly as they are written in the text.

Krishna talks and writes on a wide variety of topics, not just those related to culture. His passions cover the spectrum of left-wing politics, including the world, the caste system, social justice, religious change, communalism, classical music creativity, and so on. He has developed and is currently involved in a variety of organisations that work around the field of music and culture. He has recently spoken out against the abolition of Article 370 and the demolition of Lenin, Ambedkar, Gandhi, and Periyar statues.

Krishna is a member of the Urur-Olcott Kuppam Festival and the Svanubhava initiative in Chennai, which are both organised by a group of activists. He’s been a part of inspiring partnerships with environmentalist Nityanand Jayaraman, such as the Chennai Poromboke Paadal.

He has worked with the Jogappas for performances and has taken Perumal Murugan’s poetry to the concert stage. He also lectures at Harvard University, the Chennai Mathematical School, the Indian Institutes of Technology, and the Indian Institutes of Management, among other conferences and academic institutions.

The prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award (2016) was given to him in recognition of “his forceful commitment as an artist and advocate art’s power to heal India’s deep social divisions,” the Indira Gandhi Award for National Integration (2017) was given to him for his services in promoting and preserving national integration in the country, and the Professor V. Aravindakshan Memorial Award was given to him in recognition of “his forceful commitment as an artist and advocate art’s power to heal India’s deep. Krishna’s first playback song is ‘Venpura’ from the film Gypsy (2019), directed by Raju Murugan. The music director is Santhosh Narayanan.
