The Government of Uttar Pradesh awarded him the UP Ratna Award for charitable work.He met his spiritual teacher, Sadhguru Anant Sri Vibhuteet Bhagwat Acharya Purushottam Sharan Shastriji, at Sri Dham Vrindavan.
