Dhruva Sarja was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India on October 6, 1988. On June 7, 2020, his brother Chiranjeevi Sarja, a Kannada film actor, died. Arjun Sarja, their maternal uncle, is a well-known South Indian actor. Shakti Prasad, their grandfather, was also a Kannada film actor. On December 9, 2018, Dhruva proposed to his childhood friend Prerana. He attended Baldwin Boys High School in Bangalore for his education.
On July 15, he and his wife tested positive for COVID-19, but a later test on July 22nd came back negative.
Career:
Sarja told his uncle Arjun Sarja when he was young that he wanted to be a film hero while watching a movie with him. Arjun Sarja responded, saying that before becoming a hero, he should be a good actor, and he should take acting classes. Dhruva attended the classes and was prepared to act. When he heard about an audition for a starring character in A. P. Arjun’s new film, he went and got the part. He didn’t disclose that he is Arjun Sarja’s nephew until he was chosen. Dhruva made his film debut in the 2012 blockbuster Addhuri.
Critics praised his portrayal of Arjun as the male lead opposite Radhika Pandit. In 2013, he signed on to star in his next film, Bahaddur, with his close friend Chethan Kumar, opposite Pandit once again. The movie was a commercial success, and in April 2015, he signed on for Bharjari, which was released in September 2017 and became a blockbuster, giving Dhruva Sarja a hat-trick of success. Pogaru is the title of his next film.
