Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT DJ TIRA?

DJ Tira, whose real name is Mthokozisi Khathi and who was born on August 24, 1976, in KwaHlabisa, South Africa, is a well-known South African DJ and record producer. Afrotainment is the recording studio founded by him. As a DJ, he has worked in the entertainment industry for more than two decades. Gqom music, which he invented, has become hugely famous in South Africa thanks to his contributions to the local music scene. He’s credited with launching the careers of DJ C’ndo and a slew of other well-known industry personalities. The Disk Jockey and dancer Zodwa Wabantu are good friends, and this should be noted.

Also a graduate, the household name moved to Durban in 1995 to pursue further education. He pursued a degree in Human Resources at the university level. University of Natal is where he studied. It was during his time in college that he fell in love with the job of a DJ. The year after moving to Durban in 1996, he purchased his first vinyl record. His first gigs were at weddings, but he soon moved on to other types of private events such as proms, varsity parties, nightclubs, and so on.

His music label, Afrotainment, has started the careers of a number of artists. DJ Fisherman, DJ C’ndo, and Big Nuz, to name a few, are his progeny. One of the founding members of M1 Entertainment is a well-known celebrity. After graduating from college, he tried his hand at PR. Later, he opted to pursue a career in the music and event management industries. DJ Tira collaborated with the late Deejay Khabzela to release the Real Makoya compilation. Tzozo & Professor was formed in 2005 by Kalawa Jazzmee Records and Tzozo & Professor.

On the third live result show of Season One of SA Got Talent, he is also one of the guest artists. A reality competition show with In-Cha, Jae, and Big Nuz aired on SABC2 in 2009 with him as a contestant. Channel O Celebrity Bassment invited him to be a guest DJ in an episode in January 2011. He became the first Disk Jockey to be featured on Mixology in December of 2013.

Rolling With… The Celeb Edition, an E.tv show, had him as a guest star in one of the episodes in August 2014. He was one of the featured acts on Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble’s second launch night in March 2015. Fisherman, NaakMusiq, Danger, and The Dream Team were also on the show.

When the second season of SABC1 DJ talent search 1’s and 2’s premiered in Durban in June 2015, he appeared on stage. He appeared on the first edition of Magic with Mo, a SABC3 show, in October 2015. For MTV Base, he was one of the three Disk Jockeys who competed with DJ Zinhle and DJ Vigilante. It was a squad that includes MTV DJs Shimza, Khenzro, and C’ndo. In 2016, he was the star of the docu-reality series Ezase Afro, which aired on Mzansi Magic. A Vuzu Amp show, The Cover, featured him in an episode in September of that year.

His favourite pastimes were riding his bike and playing computer games. Abigail was the name of his mother, and the two were extremely close.

DJ Tira is a devoted father who would go to great lengths for the sake of his children. When he has some free time, he likes to spend it with his close-knit family. Mlokothwa High School, a boarding school, was where Mthokozi completed his secondary schooling. This is when he began to show a real interest in music. He began collecting Boys To Men tapes and was a lifelong devotee. In high school, he was a major part of the entertainment section, organising movies to be shown on the weekends and music to be played on the school’s fun nights.

Tira then enrolled in the University of Natal to pursue a BSoc Science degree (now the University of KwaZulu-Natal). In his second year, he was already a DJ at Durban Youth Radio (DYR), where he was well-liked by listeners. During his time in college, DJ Tira discovered his passion for Djing and began performing as one in 1996. In 2001, he released a compilation CD with DJ Khabzela called Real Makoya.

In 2005, he was signed by Kalawa Jazzmee, a subsidiary of Oskido. Tzozo En Professor was his first band, but he and Sox went on to establish Durban’s Finest, which was released on Kalawa Jazzme Records. Oskido and Dj Tira have a history dating back to when Oskido signed Dj Tira to his first recording contract, and the rest is history. Kalawa hired him to start Ezase Afro, but he soon left to go it alone.

Durban’s Finest was the moniker given to a series of CDs by Tira and Sox. He started Afrotainment in 2007 and signed DJ Cndo as the first Afrotainment performer. He became a music producer because he was producing his own music. DJ Tira signed kwaito group Big Nuz in the same year he relocated to Durban from Johannesburg. DJ Tira and Mampintsha had been close friends since they were in the same band, ‘Big Nuz,’ when they first met. West Ink was formed by Mampintsha when the duo decided to go their separate ways. Despite the fact that Tira had requested Babes Wodumo for a gig, the West Ink CEO allegedly tinkered with her booking fee. It was only later that DJ Tira came out and said that the two had reconciled.

There have been several accusations against DJ Tira for allegedly doing nothing when the allegations of Babes Wodumo being abused by Mampintsha surfaced. Later, the DJ explained that he had no idea what was going on, but he did try to help Babes and Mampintsha out when they needed it. Mthokozisi Khathi, better known by his stage name DJ Tira, was born on August 24, 1976. KwaHlabisa, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa is home to the 45-year-old artist.

DJ Tira’s parents and siblings are unknown to TheCityCeleb at this time. As a result, there is virtually little we know about his early life. Oskido also signed DJ Tira to his label. As a result of Oskido signing DJ Tira to his label, he has become a household name.

It was 2007 when DJ Tira opened Afrotainment, his own recording studio, which he called after the continent of Africa. After creating the studio, he signed DJ Cndo to his record label as the label’s first musician. When DJ Tira first appeared on music recordings in 2008, it was as a featured artist. Afrotainment, a music label he launched in 2007, is his business. When Gqom music became popular in 2017, he was one of its founding fathers. It’s not just Big Nuz and DJ C’ndo who have come out of his record label.

There are three children in DJ Tira’s family; Gugu Khathi is his wife; Junior is his son and Chase is his daughter. Mlokothwa High School in Durban is where he grew up and went to school. As a student of Human Resources at the University of Natal, now known as UKZN, he earned a bachelor’s degree.

When he was a kid, he had aspirations of becoming a professional DJ. In 1996, he was still a student at university when he began his career. His victory in the Smirnoff South African DJ Knockout competition in 2000 shifted the balance of power in his favour.

As a member of the Tzozo En Professor ensemble, DJ Tira collaborated with DJ Sox to form the Durbans Finest, and he founded the Ezase Afro label, which was owned by Kalawa Jazzmee. He has subsequently gone on to become one of South Africa’s most prominent record producers and DJs.

DJ Tira is a star, and her light is undeterred by darkness. “21 Years Of DJ Tira” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa on August 24, 2020, when he launched his fourth album (RISA). “Nguwe” and “Uyandazi,” the album’s two chart-topping singles, landed at the top of the iTunes and Apple Music charts, respectively.
