Sukumar directed the film, which premiered in theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on August 15, 2014. S/O Satyamurthy, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, was released on April 9, 2015. He went on to star in Guna Sekhar’s Rudhramadevi, India’s first 3D historical film.

He received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu for Rudhramadevi, making him the only actor to win both the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu for the same film. Later, he appeared in Boyapati Srinu’s Sarainodu. For Duvvada Jagannadham in 2016, he teamed up with producer Dil Raju for the third time. In 2018, his film Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, directed by writer turned director Vakkantham Vamsi, was released.

He played an Indian Army soldier with anger control difficulties in the film. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, his film directed by Trivikram Srinivas, was released in 2020. His film Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, was set to be released before Diwali in 2020, but filming was postponed owing to the COVID-19 epidemic.

S. Thaman wrote a rap song on Allu’s experience in Telugu film, which was performed by Roll Rida and Harika Narayan and included lyrics by Roll Rida and The Hyderabad Nawabs. Aditya Song label released the music video named “Allu Arjun Rap Song.”
