Anushka Sen is an Indian actress and model who has played Meher in the children’s fantasy show Baalveer and Manikarnika Rao/Rani Lakshmi Bai in the Indian historical drama television series Khoob Ladi Mardaani -Jhansi Ki Rani.
Anushka Sen was born in Ranchi and moved to Mumbai with her family later in life. She was a commerce student at Ryan International School in Kandivali, where she received an 89.4 percent in the CBSE board test in the 12th grade. She is pursuing a degree in cinematography at Mumbai’s Thakur College of Science and Commerce as of 2021.
Anushka started her acting career as a youngster in the Zee TV drama Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli in 2009. Her first music video, Humko hai Aasha, was released in the same year. She rose to fame in 2012 after portraying Meher in the television series Baal Veer. She starred in the Bollywood flick Crazy Cukkad Family in 2015.
Internet Wala Love and Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev are two TV series in which she has appeared. She starred in the period drama Lihaaf: The Quilt and a short film called Sammaditthi. She had a lead role in the television serial Apna Time Bhi Aayega in 2020, but she departed after three weeks. She has also starred in a number of music videos, the most recent of which being “Teri Aadat.”
In the 2019 serial Khoob Ladi Mardaani – Jhansi Ki Rani, she played the historical heroine Manikarnika Rao a.k.a Rani Lakshmi Bai.
She joined the stunt-based reality TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in May 2021. She is the youngest contestant in the show’s history.
