G. Kishan Reddy is President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, India. He’s a Bharatiya Janata Party member (BJP). He was a member of the Amberpet Assembly Parliamentary Assembly and the BJP Board Chairman after the 2009 state assembly elections, which he gave up following his election as State BJP Chairman of former Andhra Pradesh.
He was chosen president of his high school at the age of 11. He took the initiative in his college days to develop awareness programmes, which highlighted government apathy for combating terrorism and led movements to highlight issues of the blind and physically challenged and advocated equal opportunities. He is inspired by Jayaprakash Narayan and Swami Vivekanand. In 1977, he joined the Janata Party, led by Jaiprakash Narayan, as a party worker.
In 1987, Reddy began his career as a youth leader. He was chosen national president of bharatiya janata yuva morcha from 2002 to 2005.
She was inspired by the RSS’s strong commitment to Indian nationalism and soon became a BJP leader. His participation started in 2004 when he was elected to Himayath Nagar’s Andhra Pradesh Assembly. And in 2009 and 2014, when he was elected from the Amberpet constituency, he performed his magic. He championed and won Secunderabad Lok Sabha in 2019 and by more than 60,000 votes, he defeated Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav of the TRS. He is presently serving as the Home Affairs Ministry of MoS.
He was unanimously chosen to succeed Bandaru Dattatreya as President of the Telangana BJP. He also drew up a digital mapping of Indian villages, in an effort to conserve the culture and heritage, to document all details, including their history, freedom fighters, workers, NRIs, literacy and agricultural activities. In revealing that the Ministry is in talks with GMR for Fort Golconda, he said the Center will adopt a PPP model for ASI site development and conservation under the initiative of CSIR.
In response to T Harish Rao’s remarks on GDP growth, Kishan Reddy said that a “rich and surplus State” should not be compared to other states.
