He also appeared in the hit item number “Main Aisa Kyun Hoon,” which was well-received by the crowd. Roshan was nominated for Best Actor at the Filmfare and Zee Cine awards for his performance in the film. Roshan did not appear on screen again until 2006, when he appeared in three new films, including a cameo in the romantic comedy I See You at the end of the year. In his father’s superhero film Krrish, he appeared with Naseeruddin Shah and Priyanka Chopra. It was a sequel to his family’s film Koi… Mil Gaya, in which he played both the title superhero and his character from the first film.

He also appeared in the Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 sequels (2013). In the 2006 adventure film Dhoom 2, he played a robber, Mughal emperor Akbar in the 2008 historical romance Jodhaa Akbar, and a quadriplegic in the 2010 drama Guzaarish. He starred in the drama Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011, the vengeance flick Agneepath in 2012, the 2014 action comedy Bang Bang! in 2014, the 2019 biography Super 30, and the 2019 action thriller War. His highest-grossing release is his most recent.

With Just Dance, Roshan has also performed on stage and made his television debut (2011). He became the highest-paid film celebrity on Indian television as a judge on the latter. He supports numerous humanitarian organisations, sponsors a variety of businesses and goods, and has his own clothing line.
