Millie Bobby Brown is an actress, model, and producer from the United Kingdom. Brown began her acting career as a television guest star. She received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2017 alongside the rest of the Stranger Things ensemble.
Brown made her big screen debut in the monster blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), in which she repeated her role as Godzilla in the sequel Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). She also acted in and produced Enola Holmes, a Netflix mystery film (2020).
Brown was included in the Time 100 list of the world’s most powerful people in 2018. That same year, she was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, making her the youngest person ever to hold the post.
Brown will play Suzy in Ali Benjamin’s film version of The Thing About Jellyfish, which will be released in March 2019. On July 28, 2020, it was reported that she would star in and produce a thriller film named The Girls I’ve Been through her PCMA Productions. Brown will also star in and executive produce the Netflix fantasy feature Damsel, which will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and based on a screenplay by Dan Mazeau.
In December 2020, it was reported that the Russo brothers will helm a Universal Pictures adaptation of Simon Stlenhag’s graphic novel The Electric State, starring Brown. Netflix reportedly offered her a first look contract that encompassed numerous projects in December of that year. She will resume her role as Enola Holmes in the sequel Enola Holmes 2, which will be released on May 13, 2021.
