Sumedh Mudgalkar is a dancer and actor from India. With the Channel V TV serials Dil Dosti Dance, he made his television debut. Sumedh is most remembered for his roles as Lord Krishna in RadhaKrishn and Shushim in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Sumedh has never had any formal education. He learned how to dance by viewing videos on the internet. At the age of 15, he made his dancing debut on the Marathi reality serials Dance Maharashtra Dance, where he was one of the finalists. In 2013, he competed in Dance India Dance Season 4 and made it to the finals.
Mudgalkar made his acting debut in Dil Dosti Dance, a dance-based youth programme on Channel V, where he played Raghav alias Raghavendra Pratap. Then he was recognised for playing Yuvraj Sushim, the antagonist in the Indian historical drama Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Sumedh then transitioned to the Marathi film business, making a cameo appearance as Karan in the 2016 film Ventilator. After that, he starred in Manjha, his debut film as a lead actor, in which he played a psychopath named Vicky. Sumedh portrayed Salil in the 2018 film Bucket List. He also worked on Mann Yedyagat Zaala, a Marathi film.
Sumedh has been playing Lord Krishna in Swastik Pictures’ magnum opus Radhakrishan, which premiered on Star Bharat on October 1, 2018. In 2018, he appeared opposite Sanskruti Balgude in the Marathi song video “Bekhabar Kashi Tu.” In 2020, he was ranked as Maharashtra’s sixth most attractive guy by The Times of India.
