Kim Ji-soo was born on January 3, 1995, in Gunpo, Gyeonggi, South Korea, to an older brother and sister. As a child, she participated in basketball and taekwondo classes, and she was a fan of TVXQ.
Jisoo went to the Seoul School of Performing Arts for high school. She started a drama club at her school in 11th grade and gained more experience through auditions.
Career:
Jisoo entered YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2011 after auditioning. She appeared in several advertisements in 2015, including those for Samsonite, Smart Uniform, LG Electronics, and Nikon, alongside label-mates Sandara Park of 2NE1 and Kang Seung-Yoon of Winner.
She also made a cameo appearance in the KBS2 drama The Producers with label-mates Sandara Park of 2NE1 and Kang Seung-Yoon of Winner. Jisoo debuted as one of the four members of Blackpink.
