Lee Major is an American actor and voice actor who has appeared in both cinema and television projects. His most well-known roles include those of Heath Barkley in the American television Western “The Big Valley” and of “Colonel Steve Austin” in the American science fiction action series “The Six Million Dollar Man. Major grew up in Texas and is a native of the state. A few months after the birth of his son in Wyandotte, Michigan, his mother died. Lee Majors began his acting career at the age of 25 after graduating from college and working as a park and recreation director in Los Angeles.
