Prem Singh Tamang was born on February 5, 1968. He is an Indian politician and a former teacher who has served as Sikkim’s 6th and current Chief Minister since 2019. He is also the founder and leader of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) since 2019. Both of these positions he has held since 2019. Since 2019, he has been serving as the representative for Poklok-Kamrang in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly.
