Ram Charan was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on 27 March 1985. His real name is Ram Charan Teja Konidela, though his nickname is ‘Cherry.’ He attended the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School in Chennai. He’s a B.com dropout. During his school days, he took part in a variety of dance and drama competitions.
He has received numerous awards for his outstanding work in the film industry. Some of his winning awards include two Nandi Awards, two South Filmfare Awards, two CineMAA Awards, two Santosham Best Actor Awards, and many more.

Ram Charan was born into the Hindu Telugu family of actors as the son of the famous Telugu actor Chiranjeevi. His mother’s name is Surekha Konidela. He is the only brother of his two sisters, Sushmita and Srija (Younger).
He is the nephew of the famous actors Nagendra Babu (film producer), Pawan Kalyan (actor) is his uncle, and Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, and Sai Dharam Tej are his cousins.

Career:
In 2007, he began his career as an actor in the Telugu movie ‘Chirutha,’ which was a super flop.
His next film, ‘Magadheera,’ was a big success and spent 757 days in theatres. He has appeared in several other films, such as “Orange,’ ‘Racha,’ ‘Yevadu,’ ‘Govindu Andarivadele,’ ‘Khaidi No. 150,’ ‘Rangasthalam,'” etc.
In 2013, he worked for the first time in the Bollywood film ‘Zanjeer’ in which he played the role of ‘ACP Vijay Khanna.’ Besides acting, he also worked as a producer in the Telugu films ‘Khaidi No. 150’ and ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.’
He tried his luck in singing also. In 2013, he sang the Telugu song ‘Mumbai Ke Hero’ along with Jaspreet Jazz and Roshni Baptist for the Bollywood movie ‘Zanjeer.’ He has worked on several TVC advertising and modeling assignments.
He is a successful entrepreneur, serving on the board of directors of MAA TV. In 2015, he started his own Hyderabad-based airline company ‘TruJet’ and ‘Turbo Megha Airways.’ He is the owner of the Polo Team ‘Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club’ in Hyderabad and co-owner of the obstacle running the ‘Devil’s Circuit’ series.
