After starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe was injured, Brady took over and proved to be a great leader with a powerful arm throughout the 2001 season. In the postseason, he helped the club win Super Bowl XXXVI against the St. Louis Rams, and he was named the game’s MVP. Brady won his second Super Bowl MVP honor two years later, leading his team to a victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII.

While some speculated that Brady’s injury would ruin his career, he fought back to show the sceptics wrong. In 2010, he renewed his contract with the squad.

During the 2011 season, Brady went above and above to help the team reach Super Bowl XLVI. In football’s ultimate game, the Patriots faced off against the New York Giants once more. Following a close game between the New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers in December 2012, Brady made headlines. By the fourth quarter, Brady had rallied the Patriots from a 28-point hole, but the 49ers had won the game 41-34.

Brady helped the Patriots secure another Super Bowl berth by defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs despite missing the first four games of the 2016 season.
