Twice Nayeon is a South Korean singer. She was born in Sangil-dong, Seoul, South Korea, on September 22, 1995. The name of her father is not known and the name of her mother is Cheon Se-ah. Im Seo-Yoon is her sister’s name.
She won a child modelling contest as a child and was cast by idol agency JYP Entertainment. Her mum, however, forbade her from immediately beginning training and entering the show business because of her young age.
She secretly attended JYP Entertainment’s 7th Open Audition on September 15, 2010, during which she was hired as a trainee. She was cast as a part of 6mix, a JYP girl group that was supposed to debut in 2013, but never did. She also appeared in the second episode of KBS2’s Korean drama Dream High 2, which aired in 2012.
