Twice Momo is a South Korean-based Japanese musician, rapper, and dancer. Momo Hirai was born in Kyotanabe, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, on November 9, 1996. She and her older sister, Hana, started dancing at the age of three.

She is one of the most well-known non-Korean K-pop artists, and the Chosun Ilbo has credited her success with strengthening ties between South Korea and Japan. She is known as “Dance Machine” because of her physical health and body movements.

Momo has previously been described as Twice’s best dancer in this regard. Momo made headlines in 2019 after a video trailer of her was posted, which caused her to trend on Twitter.
