Vallabhaneni Vamsi is an Indian politician who began his career as a film maker. He was a member of Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party in the past. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly for that party, and he was in charge of the Gannavaram constituency. He primarily works as a producer in Telugu films, with Punnami Nagu being his first (2009). Mumaith Khan played the main character in the film.
Vamsi Vallabhaneni is an influential MLA in the district, having won the Telugu Desam Party’s election in the current Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election. The constituency has a total of 258,031 electors as of March 25, 2019. Vamsi Vallabhaneni was re-elected to the Assembly from Gannavaram in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district for a third time. Vamsi, on the other hand, recently resigned as a Telugu Desam Party MLA and joined the YSRCP. He wrote to Telugu Desam Party President N. Chandrababu Naidu, stating that he is leaving the party and his role to “safeguard the cadre.”
In his message, he also indicated that he and his supporters are in danger due to the vengeful actions of the local YSR Congress in charge of the Incharge and the discriminatory behavior of certain government employees. He also mentioned that if he continues to serve as a politician, the problem would more likely get more serious. Finally, he said that he did not want to bring the subject up again, so he has agreed to remove his name from the party and leave politics in order to protect the cadre. Vamsi also resigned from his primary membership in the Telegu Desam Party, in addition to his MLA post.
In 2004, Vamsi Vallabhaneni was elected as a rebel in the Telegu Desam Party, making him the first person in the unified AP Assembly to do so. He also lost the 2009 Lok Sabha elections as a TDP candidate from Vijaywada by just 10,000 votes. After the state was divided, Vamsi was able to win the Gannavaram Assembly seat in 2014 and repeat the victory in 2019.
