Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Houston Dynamo FC?

The Houston Dynamo has a unique history of being a founding member of Major League Soccer (MLS) and an “expansion” club, which set the pattern for new ownership groups and MLS franchises.

The Dynamo won the MLS Cup in their inaugural season of 2006 and went back-to-back in 2007. The Dynamo can be proud of their trophy cabinet, which includes a win at the 2018 US Open Cup.

The Houston Dynamo is a major part of MLS’s history and current structure, having played host to a number of notable internationals, including DaMarcus Beasley, Geoff Cameron, Brad Davis, Stu Holden, Chris Wondolowski, Brian Ching, Ricardo Clark, and many others.

On paper, the Houston Dynamo team was born at the conclusion of 2005. However, the club’s historical beginnings can be traced back to the formation of the MLS. When Major League Soccer (MLS) was formed in 1996, the San Jose Clash (later the Earthquakes) was one of the original founding members. Anschultz Entertainment Group purchased the Earthquakes after the 2005 season (AEG),

declared their decision to relocate the team after running into numerous issues with establishing a stadium suitable for soccer in the Bay Area and eventually making the decision to move the club itself.

Don Garber, the then-MLS commissioner, stated on December 15th, 2005, that the Houston Earthquakes will be disbanding in favor of the new Houston Dynamo club in Texas, taking with them all of their players, coaches, and employees. As a result, the league has decided to keep the San Jose Earthquakes name in case the league expands to the Bay Area in the future (MLS did reinsert a new expansion club called the San Jose Earthquakes in 2008).

The Dynamo became MLS’ newest “expansion” team when the franchise was established and there was nothing else to do but relocate staff. As soon as we changed our name and moved to Houston, we saw results. More than 25,000 people turned out for the Dynamo’s inaugural home game, a 5-2 victory over the Colorado Rapids. Dwayne De Rosario assisted on all four of Brian Ching’s goals. Alejandro Moreno threw in the final flourish late in the game. The Dynamo’s first season was a microcosm of this game, which served as a microcosm of that season.

The Dynamo finished second in the Western Conference and easily qualified for the postseason with an 11-8-13 record. Ching and Rosario both netted 11 goals this season, with Brad Davis assisting on 11 of them.

In the first round of playoffs, Houston was beaten 2-1 by Chivas USA in Los Angeles, despite a goal from Ching. Fortunately for Houston, Davis, and, of course, Ching scored in the second leg to turn the tide and advance 3-2 on aggregate.

Dynamo hosted Colorado in the one-legged Conference Finals on Wednesday night. Jovan Kirovski gave Rapids an early lead. The Dynamo, on the other hand, came back with two goals from Paul Dalglish and a third from Brian Mullen to defeat them 3-1. The MLS Cup final would pit them against the New England Revolution, who had won the conference title.

FC Dallas’ Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, served as the venue for the Dynamo’s 90-minute showdown with the Revolution. Even so, the two couldn’t be separated. In both halves, the goalkeepers of both teams came within a few feet of each other’s nets. A Brad Davis field goal was made. A shot by Taylor Twellman was blocked. It was a repeat of the first half, with neither team able to break the deadlock in the second period.

There were a few chances to score in the opening half of extra time, but it was more of a defensive effort than anything else. Twellman scored the game’s first goal in the 113th minute after breaking loose of a fantastic pass. The Dynamo rushed up the field from the subsequent kickoff, and Brian Ching went into the box and headed home a cross only 71 seconds later to equalize the game.

Both teams scored their first two penalty kicks, and the game went to penalties. It was all or nothing for Revs defender Jay Heaps if either New England or Houston had missed the field goal. Pat Onstad, Houston’s goalkeeper, saved the shot and the team won a hard-fought contest.

The Dynamo had little time to rest before the start of the MLS season because the tournament began in February. On aggregate, they overcame Puntarenas 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Pachuca, a Mexican team, defeated them in the semifinals by a score of 5-2 on aggregate.

A few days after exiting the regional tournament, the Dynamo drew with the LA Galaxy in their MLS season opener. The Dynamo would lose five of their first eight games in the first two months of the season. They only lost three games from June to the end of the season, though, and finished second in the conference, one point behind Chivas USA, at that time. The Dynamo are back in the postseason.

The first-round playoff matchup pitted the Dynamo against FC Dallas, another team from Texas. The Dynamo’s first away game ended in a 1-0 defeat. In a feisty game that saw 10 players receive yellow cards and two players sent off, Dallas triumphed 2-1 at home to force extra time. They advanced to the next round with a 4-2 aggregate win over the Kansas City Wizards thanks to goals from Brian Ching and Brad Davis.

Dynamo defeated Wizards 2-0 in a one-leg conference final, rematch with New England Revolution to be held in Washington D.C., this time at RFK Stadium.
