How to Meet J P Nadda Personally and Face to Face

Since January 20, 2020, J P Nadda, an Indian politician and lawyer, has served as the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. From June 2019 until January 2020, he served as the BJP’s working president.

From 1994 until 1998, he was the Leader of his party’s legislative group in the H.P. Legislative Assembly. During his second tenure, he served as Minister of Health and Family Welfare as well as Parliamentary Affairs.

In the 2007 elections, Nadda was re-elected for a second term. From 2008 to 2010, Prem Kumar Dhumal introduced Nadda as cabinet minister responsible for Forest, Environment, Science, and Technology after forming a government. Nadda did not seek re-election to the Legislative Assembly in 2012, instead being elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper chamber of the Indian Parliament.


Nadda was appointed Minister of Health by Prime Minister Narendra Modi following a cabinet reshuffle in 2014. In June 2019, Nadda was named the BJP’s national working president. He was unanimously chosen as the BJP National President on January 20, 2020, succeeding Amit Shah.

After suffering symptoms, Nadda tweeted to his followers on December 13, 2020, that he had been confirmed positive for coronavirus. He also advised individuals who had been in contact with him in recent days to separate themselves and get medical attention.

Nadda launched the Ek Muthi Chaawal Yojana in Bardhaman, West Bengal, in January 2021.
