It explicitly said that the committee would advise the religious leaders to save copies of the country’s social security number including all supporting NRI grooms papers before the wedding ceremony so that they can readily trace the situation in the event of fraud. “The decision to adopt Saanjh Kendras’ services is in order to give justice to the Punjabi brides who are the victims of domestic abuse,” she further added. She said.

Gulati toured women’s cells, the skills development facility, and Crèche during her Patiala Central Jail visit and talked with the women inmates. She expressed pleasure with the food and other amenities supplied to the prisoners and their children and cleanliness in women’s cells and underlined that she used such a model in other state prisons.

Senior Superintendent Jail Rajan Kapoor, SDM Patiala Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, SP City Kesar Singh, and other officials were also attending the event.
