Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Orlando City SC?

It was on October 25, 2010, that the Austin Aztex were sold to Orlando Sports Holdings, a new British investor group. A controlling stake in Orlando Sports Holdings would be held by Phil Rawlin, the Aztex owner at the time; he would be joined by other British owners such as himself (he owned the English Premier League club Stoke City at the time). Because of the sale’s purpose, it was instantly clear. Orlando Sports Holdings desired a franchise in the Major League Soccer (MLS) league.

“Their goal is to build up the soccer operations so that we may pursue an MLS franchise in the next several years,” Phil Rawlins wrote on the Aztex website. More than only a dearth of local investors and revenue-generating potential at the Austin facilities were highlighted as grounds for the selling of the Austin properties.

Orlando City Soccer Club leaders met twice with MLS Commissioner Don Garber to discuss all of the responsibilities that come with being an MLS team after the move. This time, Don Garber met with municipal and county authorities and discussed the prospect of a new MLS franchise for Orlando in early March of 2012. “Orlando had never been on our [expansion team] list in the past,” said Garber on his first public visit to the city in 2012. On our to-do list right now.

Orlando City SC was officially named as the 21st Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise on November 19th, 2013, exactly one year and a half later. Flavio Augusto da Silva, a Brazilian investor, has purchased the club. In the present day, he is still the owner of the club.

In the meantime, Orlando City Soccer Club was playing in the third tier of the American soccer pyramid in the USL Pro. The team had a successful four-year run in the USL Professional. Orlando City Soccer Club won the USL Pro Championship in its first season in 2011 and ended first in the league. USL Pro Regular Season champions once again but fell in the semi-finals of the playoffs in 2012. However, they won their second USL Pro Championship championship in three years that year, finishing second.

The third USL Pro Regular Season title in a row was finally achieved in 2014. In its debut season in the league, Orlando City had its greatest season. Since then, the team has been on a steep downward spiral. Orlando City finished the season with the most goals ever surrendered by a team in 2018. That season, the team let up 74 goals. However, Benji Michel’s goal against FC Cincinnati in 2019 ended Orlando City’s hopes of being the first team to concede 75 goals in a season.

Despite having been with the team when they relocated to Austin, Adrian Heath was sacked after only a year and a half. He is currently the head coach of Minnesota United and has had a good run with the Loons. Jason Kreis, who replaced Heath, was a seasoned MLS player and coach.

He had every reason to assume he’d be a success in Orlando, but a string of missteps eventually led to his dismissal. After that, Orlando City went to James O’Connor, a former player who had played for Louisville City the year before and won the USL Championship with them. He, too, was fired at the end of the 2019 season because he wasn’t good enough. Since Oscar Pareja has previously led FC Dallas to victory, fans are optimistic that this time around, he will be able to accomplish the same.

Front office personnel changes are a part of the reason why Orlando City has been through so many head coaches in such little time. Phil Rawlins stepped down as club president in 2016 and transferred day-to-day operations to Alex Leitao, the club’s CEO. When Niki Budalic became General Manager, he was quickly sacked because of a lack of fit. A few months later, Leitao hired Luiz Muzzi, FC Dallas’ current vice president of soccer operations, to fill the position. There has been a lack of stability in the front office, which is critical to success.

Orlando City’s support base is an important aspect of the team’s success. The club has made it clear how much it values its loyal supporters. There is a growing sense of community within the club as players and coaches express their gratitude to the fanbase in every interview.

For example, Orlando City completed the construction of their new Exploria stadium in 2017 and incorporated the first-ever safe standing area in an MLS stadium. The Wall is the name given to this segment. The Ruckus and the Iron Lion Firm chant nonstop throughout every Orlando City match at The Wall. The club gave it to the fans as a thank you, and the fans have delivered every time out.
