Career:

Rahul studied journalism at Delhi University. He is a Chevening scholar and has completed an international broadcast journalism program at Cardiff University. In addition, he received a Rory Peck Trust grant for a course in Hostile Environment Journalism. He began his career as an anchor-turned-reporter with Zee News in 1999 and later joined Aaj Tak in 2002. He has also worked as an Editor-at-Large for Aaj Tak and Headlines Today, both of which are part of the TV Today Group.

Rahul conducted an interview with India’s Union Minister Piyush Goyal in 2019, during which he questioned the minister about the Balakot strikes. In his TV show, he acted out a skirmish between the CRPF and Naxal insurgents.
