Ravish Kumar is a popular reporter of Indian Media. He is the Managing Editor of NDTV India. He is working with NDTV News Channel as an anchor cum senior reporter. He handles the Prime Time debate program on the channel. He had also done impressive shows like Hum Log’ and ‘Ravish Ki Report. He was also honored with rewards like Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism of the year. He is the writer of the book “The Free Voice: On Democracy, culture and the Nation”.

Early life and education:
Ravish Kumar was born on 5 December 1974 in a small city Motihari of Bihar state. He attained high school education from Loyola High School (Patna). Then he moved to Delhi for higher studies. He graduated from Deshbandhu College which was affiliated to the University of Delhi. He enrolled in a post-graduate diploma in Hindi Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.
Personal life:
Ravish Kumar is married to Nayana Dasgupta. She teaches history at Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. Ravish is known for his show Primetime which airs on NDTV. He has been receiving many death intimidations by the extremists related to some political parties.
