She was once a high school English teacher. After having an ectopic pregnancy at the age of 37, the receptionist at ‘Good Morning America’ wants to take on more responsibility. New York’s smaller clubs were where she first performed stand-up comedy before making her way to the city’s most exclusive venues.
By the time she was 44, she had made a reputation for herself on the New York comedy scene and was appearing on television. After a year, she put up her own play titled ‘Way Off Broadway’.
