Anthony Wood is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Roku, Inc. He was born in Manchester, England, in 1965. Wood graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Wood met his wife Susan while she was studying environmental architecture at Texas A&M University. They live in Palo Alto, California, with their three children.
Wood is the president and CEO of ReplayTV from September 1997 to August 2001, before selling the company to SONICblue in 2002. Roku was founded by Wood in October 2002, and he has been the CEO and chairman since February 2008. Wood owned 27.3 percent of Roku as of November 2017.
